That's all Fajardo can do..hit the quick hitters and underneath seams..anything further down the field is 50/50 balls at best and 90 percent of time high and the receiver needs to make a tough catch...he has to sit in pocket and look for his reads he's horrible...I think we will scheme to take his short stuff away..like before...and will work great..Powell as well puts zero fear in me...that 2 yr layouff did not help him in anyway..
-
yup..case in point
-
if the wheels dont fall off in the first 6-8 minutes in Regina on Sunday...I see no reason why we don't win...not handily, but never in doubt...we have the better all around team and coaching, and are wayyyyy more disciplined and play as a team...not a bunch of show boaters mugging for the camera and being selfish
-
and it will happen
-
yeah...pandoring to one suck hole fanbase isn't the way to do it...considering too, that if/when they don't win...they stay away in droves...requiring 2 telethons and the sale of worthless "shares" to keep them alive....
-
Do you find it interesting that if we had beat a first game BC team with Reilly throwing powderpuffs, a beat up Hamilton team(we beat them less beat up) and barely beat sad sack Ottawa, that it would be said we beat nobody of any significance, and that our record wasn't true indicator of how good we are, yet thats the Rider's season to date, and they are the heavily favored team and the sad sack media is calling them the elite team of the year???...makes u go hmmmm eh? Yet we are 3-1 with way more significant injuries, and played better teams
-
they were never goo at math...or looking at facts....just their propoganda they troll about...sad sack organization all around...haha
-
we win sunday...we are 5-4-1 against them in their barn...2-0 in playoffs...3-0 in all the landmark games....seeing Rosie torch them for a TD...Possibly the game winning type would just be glorious haha
-
hahahaha....Aint that the the truth
-
if u look at the cross bar video...U see Taylor was going to undercut that pass for the pick...at worse would have knocked it away...but whatever we can let them lament that play forever, that and their piddly 3 cups...8 less than us. Also agree, our recent regime's difficulty finding that legit WR threat is confounding...we had some in previous 4 yrs, but got neutered here with the Lapo "genius" which I never bought into. Lawler can be that guy...if used that way...slowly he is...Look at his highlights from College..guy can go get it. If Adams still isn't 100 percent I wanna see Woli moved soley inside...working the tough yard catches...and have Agudusi outside...stretching the defense and being the 50/50 threat where he will constantly be pulling the safety out of the middle and taking the corner out of the play....would open up a ton of room for others
-
yup...sucked but teams hands were tied and there was some stuff going on that would have been not good public news if they didn't move him...he should have finished his career here
-
IF THAT pass didnt hit the upright pretty sure it was gonna be picked..we had over and under coverage on that pass...just like the 2 previous ones were almost picked
-
yeah...he won't leave to follow Lapo....thats not the tie that binds here
-
doubt it...he loved winnipeg and the team around him...not Lapo
-
one is going to the PR...Rumours are it's Strev...Thats what I heard...not saying it true, but they didnt use, or show much confidence in him, thats all I am saying well...Rose has been waived....wonder if he tries to catch on somewhere...or say eff it and head on back
-
bring back Rose then all of a sudden yu have grey cup returnees Rose/Taylor/jones and Alexander, proven commodity Darby as well as 2 up and coming studs in Alford and Nichols on the roster as rotational guys...me like a lot and you can go back to what we were doing the last 5-6 games of 2019 Also seeing some talk out of Arizona that think Strev's may be on the snip list...if he clears waivers wonder if he wants to take a PR spot to rot, or make more in the CFL as the change of pace QB up here again...I think he does that as e is a competitor and wants to play...plus who wouldn't want to be the toast of a city again??
-
yup....that be huge
-
would love Begelton
-
Yeah Michel would be a nice grab, can return too I believe. I wonder if they have money set aside for Strev if he was to get cut....I can't see him trying to bounce around PR to PR and not get playing time.
-
yeah...totally forgot we do have $$ sitting there that was for Mitchel that hasnt been accounted for yet...I think Duke is off the radar now as he is injury related and back with Bills...whats the situ with Zylstra tho...is he on the bubble?
-
not the ideal guy I would have liked us pick up, and much rather work Stewart or Agudusi into the lineup....but Roosevalt knows where the holes in a defense are, and has seen everyone imaginable, so if anything will be a good outlet possession guy for us if he gets in the lineup, Zack knows his tendencies and won't hurt...
-
makes me think Adams may be re-injured...he seemed kind of like he was again partway through the game and was basically just running decoys

yeah....they are pretty sub par on the gameday analysis and in game flow thats for sure. Get us Stove back in there...Wilson in his usual spot, Darby (who played great for a first game in 2 yrs in a new system) u to speed and the ability to sub Roqemore in and out and this defence will be lights out...Plus the fact Jefferson and Alexander aren't 100 percent right now either.....3-1 at this point while missing the defense issues, as well as Harris/Demski and Adams missing 7 games, and also Grant who is missed on teams as well as his role on the offence, you cant be complaining -
i was gonna chime in on that too...Zack is the better QB by leaps and bounds, but he needs to work on is touch on the dumps and short screens...always has had that one knock....but...he is also looking for that as is last option when all else fails and a lot of time by that point, it's not gonna be a successful play anyway...he's looking downfield always, even when he scrambles and once our receivers get used to this, and Zack with them and what they like to do we are gonna see a lot of big plays...it's coming

I'm looking forward to the home and home against the Riders, we play out game and get in sync (seems we are out of it right now, but Harris back with a game under his belt will help) Not to bash the Riders's but I think they are getting more credit than they deserve...They beat B.C (barely) and a beat up/depleted and underperforming Cat's, and Ottawa, whom is the free spot on the bingo board, and didn't really dominate them or have the game soley in hand by any stretch. All games at home home to date, which is odd, but plays a role in things. We have been jekyll and hyde to start, but have also been dealing with injuries on both sides of the ball, as well as have had up until Legs coming out (hopefully thats the norm not an anomally) been sub par on ST's....which will just be an aberration. Calgary has a very good defence, and T.O is a lot better than many are giving credit to as well, so it's not like we beat chumps, and did it with a pretty depleted lineup as well, and a lot of guys playing nicked...I'm not concerned with how we are progressing. I expect a typical split, home team winning each, I doubt we will be swept, but I can see us sweeping. Lets see who the team to beat is this weekend. I like our chances, and if we get back a Rocquemore or Stove, or both..I really like the sweep idea Stove being out is a huge factor right now...U cant expect 2 rookies rotating in at his spot to be mistake free and dominate. We actually have adjusted or d-line set up and schemes and it's shown...also no slight against Briggs and Gauthier, but having Wilson back in the lineup, and even Roquemore would be a huge factor
