Darby in my opinion is a must sign....guy can play safety or halfback at an all-star level, as well as was a top notch sam...dude is flat out good and all about team and community....perfect Bomber material If we to lose him, then yeah I could see a stab at Moncreif, but if Maston is fully healed which I hear he is and will be 100 percent for camp them we have the same type of player, cheaper, and our defence, the presence of him, Darby or Moncreif would see same results. That extra money Moncreif would command be better spent going to Rose, or one of the receivers...or Stove for that matter Don't see us letting Couture walk, and he would stay here for less, unless someone throws a stupid Chungh deal at him...which I can't see.

Duke last year looked like he came to Canada out of shape and heavy If he returns this year..in shape...head on right he could be a good asset in right lockeroom.. He always been a bit of a ****..but last yr he came into a room with a group of me first assbags (hello purifiy..marshall..Edam and Gainey) and HC who had no control of his team...and almost seemed like they didn't respect him...and he fell right in line with acting like the rest.. not neccesarily....Walters worked deals with what they deemed the first group of must signs...now is negotiating with group 2 of must signs...he needed to know what he had to work with SMS wise after the big guns got bumps...and basically all the big guns been re-upped save for Couture....the next lot are in the works now, and almost certain some done deals already...just finishing touches before announced....they may get a few guys a bit cheaper than expected,, allowing to bump up a guy a bit more...happens lots

I wouldn't say that so much...had some injury issues last year....dude will turn 30 during season....if SMS allowed would be an excellent 6th DB on roster, and even push for starter reps....I'd sign him on the cheaper deal if he would accept...can always cut in TC if a rook pulls an Alford...I assume now that Nichols is not getting an NFL deal, so he back on a rookie deal, so conceivably we may have all back other than Alford...which would be almost insane to think of at end of year...And Maston will be back too...we be aight in the DB area....I fully expect to hear a Rose re-signing if not before FA....Shortly into it
