Sports specific and actually agility/range of motion and functional strength are more key now and what we look at and focus on....as well as explosive strength. People shouldn't get it wrong and that true weight lifting and putting on mass...lean mass...isnt important now...it is....but things have shifted toward more usefull mass. Thats why the 225 bench is kinda ...meh and and not a true indicator of strength and explosive power...more a muscle endurance metric, and really how often are you gonna be doing say a move ...like a punch or true bull rush 15 to 30 times in a row...and in a span of 30 seconds? Seen it time and time again that a 29 rep guy has less power and brute force as the guy who put up say 15 to 20 reps...the lower rep guy most times too can in a 1RM out press a lot of the high rep guys...mainly due to way more effective fast twitch recruitment and in football...especially in the trenches is way more valuable....and we can effectively train guys to hit this and actually get them to recruit a higher percentage of fast twitch As for juicers a pretty easy tell tale sign of it is overly developed traps and neck and really capped shoulders and overall yoke.....Fore arms are a good sign an jaw/face...and the fact they get knicked....a lot....Not saying Toilette is but that nice masking beard, and the fact he always on the limp....as C and C Music factory said...are "things that make you go hmmmm" lol That being said dropping a significant amount of fat tho can give you the appearance of being bigger...and in a pic all by one self and no reference point....ie: another person in the shot can also be deceiving...tho true monsters in a pic look massive...and in person scary...I used to train with Paul Dillett in T.O and MTL ....and pics didnt do him justice....dude was a freak....If you dont know who he is have a google If Toilette is 200 pounds....good luck with that as he was marginally effective as his weight allowed him to be a bull....he lacks speed and finesse...and will prob get beat up more thn ever now....9 games maybe his max....11 if lucky

YOU wouldnt have to rebuild...if you had a solid roster....not much would be needed...and safe to say we do....its how you use said roster, and organizationally how we do business....wouldnt change...so yes we'd be just fine Mike Oshea....all th good and positive he brings...he isn't the BlueBombers and sucess dies without him...nope I played for nice guy coaches...who after 7..8 yrs and not evolving....started to slide...and then fade out with a firing...and life went on...teams had success...some even better success....not a shot at Oshea...just a fact of pro sports coaching....every damn one has a shelf life whether people wanna believe or not...and many have been let go to the shock and shagrin of fans...media....it happens...and it will here too...its not being a hater...just reality...and another flop this yr with same themes as last 3....its time nobody saying right now....but I wouldn't even consider an extension for him till after the season is over....and more of the same....why would we?...and maybe that unknown and possibility of a non rehire would be the elixir needed to have a bit of a shift on how he manages some things...and a bad attitude and less than optimal effort because he didnt get rewarded a new deal prior to current expiring is good reason to also walk away....like a player has to...earn your next payday...no player is gonna get premium pay based on 5 yrs ago work when he has shown decline in the last 2..3...same goes for a coach

he needs to be more intrusive and not worry about the "nice guy" mystique and take control at times...It's part of the job....Our unwillingness for anyone...be it HC ..GM or even prez step in and if anything just say "why" to some of our decisions has ultimately cost us 3 Cups...and before anyone says "yeah but injuries"...well dressing hurt guys...not pulling guys who got hurt and not replacing them in game....and unwillingness to adjut to the game flow...instead just keep hammering away with a flawed scheme and showing no faith in any back-ups to step in...and step up...killed us...and was a conscious decision by...at end of the day..the HC....It's okay to bench guys...replace hurt guys....tell a co-ord to get his **** together or he gonna take control..... or ...maybe the wise ones can look at it a different way eh?...Who the eff keeps a coach in place who has failed in 3 straight championships...for reasons that were common in all 3?...there is that angle as well when head is pulled out of sand and blue glass removed If we were to move on and replace our HC....And due diligence was used in picking one...who is not a moron....an assbag...or Chris Jones...we will be just fine...maybe better...we wouldnt fall off a cliff....

the HC job is to control whats going on...and if things are not Going to plan...figure out why...and do what needs to be done to adjust.....to suggest a HC has no control or say over what is occurring is just false on maNy levels...and an HC who just relies/depends on any coach under him with zero say about it....or no desire to correct things is just a bad HC then....Not sure what some of you'all are watching...or what your knowledge of things are football wise past The pop warner level but the success, and failure of a team....NCAA and or Pro falls directly at the feet of the HC as he controls the narrative...the roster...and the important decisions in a game....and not to be rude but any suggestion other wise is just complete BS Yes I will add a successful HC is basically a product of a savvy G.M and Co-Ordinator's and positional coaches under his employ...and basically he does almost minimal actual work save for the in game decisions ...that being said the exceptional one's will also step in and over ride...make a call and yes...step on toes of people...assistant coaches and players when they just aren't getting it done

even parts of Missouri....danger at every corner....make a wrong turn is ST Lois or K.City and you will get a dose of reality...scary We would recruit guys and train from Cali power houses like Longbeach Poly...Centenial...Inglewood so would get kids from some real bad neighborhoods...good kids but wise beyond their yr's just to survive and in and around Oakland....Eastmont...P-Laney..Freemont....places the Police avoid if they can for most part People up here complain about a lot of stuff...conditions of this and that...bad neighborhoods....They havn't seen the half of it...sad part there is so much athletic talent there that just cant get a chance due to circumstance it's crazy...and sad Placed a lot of young men in JUCO schools there and then onto places like Diablo Valley college...Fresno...Shasta in what is now the Big 8 conference in Cali...working with the NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) if wondering what that is where help is given creating recruiting profiles...finding right fit...access to the resources that they may not have gotten in the recruiting process from no fault of their own...just their circumstance and actually allows them to access what schools and coaches have actually accessed their profiles...pretty good stuff....something sorley needed up here but lobbying for it and trying to get something started up here basically falls on deaf ears

yeah I was saying that not to be a penicular device...Just a word of caution and advice from real world experience knowledge...as odd as it seems.....that word is a real no-no and can be very offensive in some instances, and by the time you realize it you may be waking up in an emerg department....if you wake up seeing as it is off-season and we dont have much else to yammer on about than good natured bickering a lil story.....I lived an played in the Oakland area for 3 yrs....and had some teammates who were straight gang bangers...or were guys with support of their gangs had got out of the lifestyle to try and make it thru sports...so would come to games...and practices as support so got to meet many....and it's a different world with different politics. I would watch guys have total convo's without saying a word but all in sign....and it was extraordinary to say the least. They taught me some lingo but the sight of that, was about the same as the sight of a big white dude trying to cut the rug on the dance floor....you just dont wanna see that! Went on a couple excursions as a "guest" to a few of the neighborhoods for BBQ's ...to say the least I was scared shitless and I rarely scare

doesnt matter what he says to media...he still the HC and got praised for it...what are you not seeing...Players will say same...thank coaches for putting them in position to be successful...and their teamates as well....Only real dipshits and guys who dont last long in one place will wrap themselves up in all the glory and spout off about it.... So when things dont go as well....they deserve criticism...Players wont outwardly say "coach effed up and had a bad scheme...and didnt adjust" which is a lot of times the case...or poor roster moves......but believe me they feel that way....Osh when things go bad can't admit he screwed up...and would and does say...."I'd do same thing"...."no...that wasn't reason"..."I like our guys...all starters"....there is the deflecting and protecting guys and not admitting fault....but there is also taking ownership and admitting you screwed up too No coach is perfect and they all have faults that cost them games...Even our Oshea.....all coaches also get stale...flame out...and get fired....and as it stands since 2021...Osh...AND the Bombers as a collective unit have won nothing.....another failure due to similar reasons has to be...and should be a discussion on future.....whether you'all wanna believe or agree with it or not...

That's not his job or role...and that's last thing an organization wants is the Prez or owner getting involved in the team day to day activity...who plays..starts...etc....but will step in when utter incompetent crap is going on...and sometimes behind the scenes and not publicly revealed...I think he has in a few instances had a few conversations too
