Yeah...i also not concerned about what happened in games earlier in the yr..we will see a different defense and how they go about what needs to be done And as was stated...our offence seems to have had no issues moving and scoring points against both CGY and BC...so we play a clean game all.around..I see no reason we lose...especially at home

That's a total different situation...aging broke down player in downtrend of his career..versus a younger player...hitting his appex with good years still ahead of him...he ain't going anywhere

But he was a walk on who never saw field for 2 yrs...was undrafted...then had 2 failed tryouts....then did nothing until he found his way here...so the "CFL Refugee" tag too is always a strike...dumb as it is. There are a boatload of Schoen's coming out of school each yr, higher pedigrees...higher profile...and drafted, many with upfront cash....therein lies the politics part of it...I hope he gets that opportunity and sticks...and doesn't do the bounce around and make no money thing...ala Drew Desjarlais...what is it now 6 weeks of sitting...no cash flow...he could have had a good 5 weeks on a prorated deal up here in his pocket now, and its an easy stretch to say he could have signed a 200k prorated...so thats $11 111 a game he missed out on

he may get a sniff...but would e hard pressed to get on a roster if you ask me...he will need to get on somewhere in a situation where he is an immediate impact player/starter...he getting long in tooth to develop for a few yrs...and if he doesnt get offered upfront money..I wouldnt even bother..sign here for 180...200k and that be that

this exactly...u seen it in 2019 already...nobody expected him to throw, cause he never did it, and coming out of college his passer rating and analysis was horrid....If u go back and watch his early starts...db's didnt expect them to go long...so they were caught off guard early and often with letting guys behind them....but if u look at the result it was a moonshot ball...underthrown where receiver either had to stop...or come back to get it with DB's in chase mode not look back for ball...he had some successes' don't get me wrong...but was more a recipient of team around him...he fell into a good spot...buts the talent and character evaporatd around him...and he needed to lead and win games based on his skill...well we seen what's going on. Since 2019 I can think of maybe 1...possibly 2 deep..or even deepish shots where he hit a receiver in stride so he could catch a ball in full burst....and have we even ever seen him throw a guy open...or manage a pass for a guy to run under, or lead a receiver on??? Throw in his non-ability to read a defense, or run through progressions and you have another issue....and don't even get me started on hius footwork and pocket presence and sense, and delivery...right garbage

I would target Sheed in a clutch catch situation....or u need a first down...u know the dude will give it 110 percent to scratch and claw to get it, plus in his time here he's made many great catches...and clutch...that being said we have the luxury of pretty much any of our guys with that same attribute...and will be getting 2 more ultra clutch guys back in Woli and Ellingson. Game dictates who and where the ball goes..the Lions were trying to limit/shut down Schoen and Demski...so Sheed got the balls...and produced...it's what good teams do

CD is a complete joke...and has no clue..let alone business being a HC....That is were a lot of the issues lay....with him and Oday....what a 1 - 2 combo there.....yikes CF...yeah...he needs to nut up and stop readin his old press from 2019...thats eons ago and he was just lucky and caught teams off-guard in first half of season, but been a downward spiral since.....his starter days are done...would make a serviceable short yardage guy (which was what he was before ZC got hurt) and a get u through the game in game injury replacement, but I can't see a team relying on him as the actual back-up

Poop is a rapper now... Kongbo would be a huge get fir a variety of reasons...as will a healthy Hansen again for rotation. That's where we been lacking this yr...is having those 4 guys who can spell each other off...as well as have all 4 on the line...caused tons of havoc last yr. A trio of the Jeff's and Mauldin would be a dream...even the Jeff's and Kongbo as the main 3 with Hansen again would be very effective...especially now with how Sayles has developed his game coming off the edge...those 5 and Lawson and a young import monster DT would be just fine...and work well for our SMS..

Jefferson re-signing is a basically slam dunk...and priority....sack numbers are down but his effect on the game, and how teams scheme, and how he disrupts schemes is still top notch...he has been seeing way more attention due to injury and lack of middle push...Not sure where the full court press for last yr was coming from but I can say thats 99.9% false or fabricated...Jeffcoat has lots of tread, and certain is a priority....he just been unlucky with the injury bug. Guy likely to not be back for us next yr is Thomas...good foot soldier, loyal and been here forever but this yr it's clearly noticeable he well past his best before date...and it's hurt our interior push this yr....hopefully he goes out with his 3rd ring

yes u can use unused 2022 sms as upfront money now, for any future contract...which Walters does often to lessen the sms impact salary wise for the following year, allowing you more ability to retain guys, or go after guys...basically it's being paid for service in advance

yeah...League All-star voted by piers....he's no Dan fatty Clark and Maston was the final piece to solidify the first cup yup....3 more all-stars....they obviously wouldn't hurt any team missing similar talent....other teams would be so lucky to have 3 like that yup....solid as they get Canadian receiver, and another guy who is a clutch proven vet, and was tops in league for us when he went out...easily replaceable and no issue to lose players like that...especially with another...Demski missing 4 games too...no loss there yup...the 2 league all-star tackle not at 100%....that is a non issue for sure...and also lost in the fracas is that lousy Houston being out as well...thankfully he sucked and isnt a quality guy so he easily replaced.....just like we replaced the replacement for BA and Wilson....cause they weren't quality it just makes you shake your head and laugh at other fan bases moaning about shoulda..woulda...coulda if not for the injuries, and how we are so lucky to escape injury issues...well when you have depth, and talent, and team players who step in and you don't miss a beat, I guess it tricks them into thinking they were the starters from day one...cause they look and play like it....so we have "no" injuries
