Injuries take there toll....and Tre Thomas was just making plays...all over the field...and in training camp...alas we let him walk as opposed to giving him a chance...or at the least earn his chops on the PR...but we have 2 extra DB's currently there..as well as an extra on roster...seems excessive in one position...minimal in the other...

Yes...it also says 21 Nationals.. one of which to be a nationalized American....regardless how you disect it...we aren't doing it....and it denies us the ability to have an extra import on the roster...as well as use the mationalized import for Canadian reps...which is just plain stupidity...arrogance...or whatever you wanna call it. Being the only team not doing it says volumes...just like starting an American FB who you have to waste a DI spot on ...the only team to make that pointless...and idiotic move...actually in the history of the game...says even more

that being said...also cost us 2 cups....and it's continuing...even if only 1 game.....it's still an issue

No...rules says 8...one of which has to be...also hence the game day roster increase of 1 player and no more scratches

its one for one...plain and simple....could have took off the extra DB who may not even see a rep...the extra linebacker who also...may only see ST reps....or Woods..who would have seen a ton....impactful ones at that...and was part of the strongest part of our team last game....so it was a poor decision ....but typical

it's part of what has irked me for over 2 yrs now....it's almost a dog wagging the tail thing again....but the fact our management is actually ok with this....strikes me as odd...but we are totally not being allowed to put out our best roster because of the HC...to me that don't fly when this was all negotiated and voted on...they deleted the need to scratch a guy to allow the same amount of Canadians to dress game day, so as not to take a job away....so the excuse it took a Canadian spot off the active game day roster also doesnt fly...cause thats innacurrate...I forgot to add that part.....which makes this even more ridiculous to not use it if it's a matter of his Candian Pride being hurt

what I dont understand...or get the reasoning for is as per the ratio rules...every team has to start 8 nationals....though one of which has to be a Nationalized American...You need 21 Nationals..including that Nationalized American You need 19 Americans...15 regular roster guys...and 4 DI's....this does not include QB's and the Nationalized American...so in essance he is further limiting ou roster not allowing us that coveted extra import body...something every other single team in the league does...again...I guess we jut lucked out with the 1 out of 9 genius who sees this as being disadvantagious How does he get to not follow the letter of the rules?...Is it cause he said to the league hey....I'll do you a solid and start 3 extra Canadians instead cause I am fricken Mike Oshea..Canadian coach dammit and I will do what I want? Or because the 8 other teams were agreeable to it and said go for it...knowing it makes our roster weaker? Why Walters and or Miller aren't slappin him upside the head for neuturing us needlessly is just baffling. And how some supporters here defend this crap is even more baffling

and guys rarely get plucked....plus also have to agree and want to leave....its not just a we take him and thats that..for most part teams are also pretty respectful of the PR...thats just a defend Osh and his poor traits response a soapbox

was an import for import swap....100 percent....no other import was added....no other was removed.... there is now way to conclude otherwise....jeepers

pretty sure we the only team that does this....i sure 1 out of 9 HC's isnt the lone genius....i would lean to thinking that he the lone....u fill in the blank so looking at that tripe...basically the insertion of Biggie was the exile of Woods...correct?

I like athletes who can perform the job....and be an adequate back-up if need be.....Thomas was at one point an edequate backup....with 20..30% of rep total....never should have been what we used him as...especially the last 3..4 yrs yeah...this here...that being said...that role now should be Scmeck's and Samson's to grow into...6 to 8 snaps a game isnt gonna kill us.....That also is only while Lawson is on the IR....If he wasnt then he is an actual defacto 70% rep guy

that game last yr shouldnt have been a "missed 3rd and short" away from a win....it was wayyyy more than that....should have never been even close had we dressed an appropriate team

yeah we don't....Dress Murphy for reciever depth...see what he has....Or roster Rosery.....there's a thought....if one thinks a DT or any bigger bodied guy cant come in for that what..1..maybe 2 times all 7 are actually in they sorely mistaken

yeah you are correct...I not into middling average players....especially when you can field better. And I come from the land of you earn your spot...every week, and have to hold on to it...every week or you lose said spot, also from a land where if there was a better option, and it dictated or required a roster/ratio shuffle....you did it.....was a good land....successful land.....and most importantly not a foriegn land as pretty much every team in the league is in that land...we are in the land of the lost almost now

good teams tweak...transition and work guys in over the yr..and aren't afraid to put a new "better" guy in at any point in season...as they earned it and cleary are better as opposed to rewarded....just look at 2019 as an example...late season adding Maston and Taylor...and how it turned us around....we used to do it....what happened?....

and continuation of 2022...2023....but good to see someone else actually sees that...watch for his backside pursuit...or lack there of...or him behind the play tippy toe joggin up to the play post whistle....Then watch Adams..Fox...and Woods when dressed come ripping in outta nowhere....impacting the play or bringing a guy down from behind....and ask yourself...why???....just why??

not based on 1 game this yr...based on the same kind of stuffing going on over 2 yrs now also the younger guys on the roster won't be the reason for decline...It's "some" of the aging guys...not all....but a good portion of the aging/inadequate/no use other than special teams guys filling spots here for no other reason than that they have been here a while, and we have a hard time of late moving on, and actually trying to get continually better on the fly I want to see Steveler when brought in used in the actual offence....not just totally obvious designed runs....let him show he is an actual QB so that when he comes in...teams don't just load the box....that and actually use option when he is in...and some trickery. If ZCgoes down...or just keeps turning up the suck....Strev needs to have actually ran the offence before that....forward thinking and preperation for the unknown/ineviteable...things this staff has been ignoring and over looking

If Smith wasn't hurt, and on roster...now way in hell would Osh have flipped the ratio there...never....taking a "canadian" starter spot off the depth chart not in his DNA....he will put one in place of an injured American before going the other way evertime tho...even if they are far inferior to who got hurt, as well as any import "backup" we have on roster, or PR...as they are all #1's anyway according to him...or wouldnt be here...which is a joke in itself

he gives us way more right now than the waste we had there last yr....Ratio alone......and he has to be respected coming out of the backfield...regardless if has has proven anything yet or not...

once he is coached up...a 6'-2" 225lb+ back who runs a 4.5 40 yard dash....once he puts it all together.....

I agree tho...MCI will be fine....right coaching...res...experience.....not worried there, but he's not the back-up RB yet...but his physical skills and body type can't be ignored...he will get there
