Couple observations....Evans def has lots to learn...still...luckily he was playing against the sad sacks...The Faj is no hell but they have best chance with him in Sask coaching...just plain ...sad? That offence is so pop gun and the O.C so out of his league it's become beyond laughable now...nothing beyond line of scrimmage for a pass is guaranteed...doesn't help when u have no QB depth and yes that included Harris..basically they settled for him as it was only option. That oline is worse than ever...pretty substandard talent wise for one (hi O'Day) and their oline coach has to be useless ..they can't pick up stunts..twists ..switches... nothing...just lost on majority of plays Morrow as well...not a true mail carrying back...too many huge losses runs...not best hands...just not an everydown guy...again coaching there has yet to realize Hickson should be their 12 to 15 touch at minimum guy...Weinike should have been sent packing with Walker...2 other guys they settled for cause nobody wanted to sign there and go with new blood..did Weinike even play? ..mind u when u try to force feed 90 percent of your throws to one guy I guess u don't notice others Even the defence..holes and thin...Dalke is horrible .. especially in space...I think he got benched again...unless he has a guy to target wth a questionable hit when he defenseless or being held up by someone else he's useless ..money should have been spent on someone other than Micah Johnson...unless play is right at him he is gassed and has zero pursuit ability now ..spend money or time building a new core..Johnson wasnt a long term answer..why even go there...list could go on really...people there whine about injuries but it's about depth or lack there of...and quality guys...falls again back to coaching and management...likely the bottom of the barrel in the league...and translated on the field....sure is fun to watch tho...and shots of Craig D on sidelines looking clueless...confused and with no answer is good TV

Any hit above the shoulder...basically head is a flagable play...the brunt of the DL plopping down on him was upside his head...and as they say (Suitor) u need to be in control of your body apparently...hence that BS call on us last yr when an olineman tossed Fatboi into a QB and we got flagged for it..I joking here about about Suitors lame comment...but it's a similar circumstance...that lug didn't need to drop his fat ass in a QB head..especially one prone on the ground flat on his stomach

It's a multi faceted thing...he's in a familiar system that he's been in for 3 yrs...with all the same pieces he's played behind and thrown to this whole time as well ..so he's completely comfortable and accustomed to everyone and their tendancies Starting from scratch...how does that translate...my take is with growing pains and some sub par performance games. That being said it's perfect for our situation...and it was clear he learned from his mistakes from his first real start against BC last yr with almost all.the starters...he threw ball away this time when he needed to...and he was more composed and calm..and trusted in his players So he has made progress for sure...but he is also mainly unproven still but promising. Yeah was Elks...but also put up over 300 yards...4 TD throws...engineered a Prukop sneak score...and that was from coming from being down 22 zip...in less than ideal weather...so that's is impressive and he has down more against them than Harris did this yr...Kelly....even ZC in his first game....credit where credit is due

once we adjusted and just went to playing traditional Bomber defence, and not have players taken out of the play before it even started with unnecessary spying...the Elks were dead in water....We made them have to beat us with the throw...and it wasnt happening...we have the number one pass defense in the league...and a raw unproven QB who is more a gadget guy at this juncture wasn't gonna beat us that way... People were chiming in on Biggie being behind the play...or too slow....he was put in that disadvantage by scheme in the opening part of the game....and especially now with Wilson back and looking no worse for wear and likely getting stronger each game now....we dont need to do that....he can clean up that random scrambling stuff all on his own. Another thig to mention..Rose back has really solidified things on the back end...he is a great communicator and defacto DB coach out there ensuring guys are in the right spot...and seems to keep things calmer...as well as he looks back in form...hardly mentioned out there cause he seems to not being targeted much....BC tried originally but went away from it pretty fast...with him..BA and Nichols we should have minimal busts moving forward....sure there will be a clean beat here and there as that will always happen, but we should be solid...other than Houstons bad whiff on the Moore play...they were pretty sound, even tho it was just Ford tossing ducks up

who knows...maybe he is content learning and biding his time, and being a part of a winner...weirder things have happened on a diff note....Ford commented in after game questions that he figured they let up and played conservative as to not lose, being a reason for the collapse....then the might Chris Jones in his media scrum said " maybe players should stay in their lane and execute the plays that are sent in"...what an A-1 assbag coach

my opinion is a penalty.....been stated by league any contact to head is a penalty....and we had that clear as day.....and seeing how his neck was bent...it was clearly significant contact

Interesting and encouraging part is this team never wavered....panicked or pressed which generally results in unforced errors....went back to what works...and took over A point to be proud of too, is the fact they were getting bent over on calls, as well as some cheap chippyness and never squawked and whined...didn't even show negative body language in reaction to it....didn't take retaliation style selfish penalties....just kept grinding and took the game over....thats why we win more often than lose....the team plays for each other The funny part to see tho was the Elks yukking it up...prancing and dancing....being smug figuring they had it in the bag and then watch the change as the game slipped away

Was definitely a RTP on ZC....Checked off most boxes as per the rule....wasn't a malicious shot...I dont think...But the fact he hit him in the head...and doesn't matter what part of body you do it with...it is supposed to be called every time...and wasn't...why I don't know...especially when an injury occurred, but whatever....we soldiered thru like great teams do......it is sad tho when we have seen way less called on a "hit to the head"....one which stands out beinbg WJ jumping up to try and knock a pass down and on his way by his hand brushed the top of the QB's helmet....to the extent I dont think the QB even knew....so define the damn rule and stick to it...any hit to QB in the head while he in the pocket...behind the LOS and or in the motion of throwing outside the pocket...easy peasy...cut and dried....no room or need for interpretation...u touch it...u get flagged 3 stars tho Brown (for the obvious) Bailey (gritty catches and runs...and hellacious blocking for his bro's...prime example last night why he is so vital) BO and BOLO (BO for taking over and not being denied...and sapping the Elks will to tackle...and BOLO stepping up and making key catches...and key blocks) HH to Rose and Wilson for that vet presence and helping keeps things calm and under control...and getting better with reps....2 key additions
