From what I've seen, the jets have been a little off, for a few games. Off as in a bit tired. No longer first to the puck in the other end or their own end. Also, not winning fights for the puck as often. Maybe the whole team is a little low on gas, cause the effort to play that way is very high.

I don't think players (other than a few here and there giving each other the gears), are generally known to discuss other players publicly. What's the upside for a person doing that? Might be teammates somewhere down the line. Same as coaches, and managers.

There's a good video of a Predator forward turtling when Buff is about to arrive at the same spot. Not sure, maybe Arvidson. He's carrying the puck, looks over sees Buff coming, then the Predator player dumps the puck, and just drops to the ice leaning wayyyyyy back . Very inspiring I'm sure for the teammates. I think that up to this point, puck is bouncing the Jet's way. Couldn't tell you one specific play, but the Wild, and Nashville, had some pretty good chances, that didn't quite make it into the goal. This makes up for some poor puck luck in prior seasons. Don't get some of the criticism I read in other forums of some of the players, specially Wheeler. Ask Scheifele how Wheeler is doing. Also, I don't get the Hellebuck (sp) stole the game. The Jets scored four goals. On the supposed best defence in the league.
