I actually saw Villardi at the rec room here in Winnipeg. I just let him be but he looked fine and probably was just looking for an escape. I really hope he can come back and inject some firepower into this anemic power play. You're right though, good teams dig deep and find ways to win...

The Jets don't deserve anything. They are not playing playoff hockey. This team folds like a cheap tent when they face adversity. They have been average since the All-Star break. And in real danger of giving up third place in the central. It's the same s*** that happened last year and it's just showing up later this year.

I think the logic of putting to TT on the third line is that he would be able to bury the chances that Appleton keeps getting. Regarding to putting Apples on the first line, no idea. At least they broke up 81 and 55. 81 is a giveaway artist as of late. As long as he doesn't hold the puck from more than one second, he's good.

Don't look now but Nashville is only five points behind the Jets. A very real possibility that like last year, we'll fall into the wild card spot. There's some very ugly hockey being played in March.... Thankfully the Stanley Cup is not awarded then.
