This was the problem in game 2. There's a bit of a spark in game 1, very faint. But we only have 2 shots by forwards this game. That needs to change if there is any hope.of turning this tide.

Habs get some puck luck...and Kyle Connor needs to figure it out how to protect the puck. That was a terrible sequence and obviously we paid for it.

Laine was missing because he like Scheifs was injured. When they both went down that series was over. Player safety is a complete joke. I theorize that Dubois is playing injured. You can see his range of motion is limited and when he tries to extend with the puck, he loses control. I wouldnt write him off just yet though. Kid has tonnes of potential. Amazing what an off season and proper training camp might do for a player.

The Jets haven't tested him at all.

The League decide this series with the bullshit suspension on 55. I see nothing from this team that says they can turn this around. I think we're done folks. Jets look like the tired team. Which baffles me.

This hearing is taking a long time. You would think Jets need to know soon so the coach can figure out line combos for tomorrow game. I agree with the stance that Evans wasn't defenceless. You can see him look up just before he gets hit by Schiefele. I maintain it was a clean hit too. Shoulder to chest. He's not head hunting and he's finishing his check. I'm not so sure it's a charging penalty either. Everyone saying he was going full tilt is correct... Because he was backchecking.

The Player Safety committee is a complete joke as of late. Schiefele is a 1st time offender, but that likely won't matter. He'll be a scapegoat for the new "rules" the player safety is trying to enforce.

As @TrueBlue4ever said, depends on the severity of the injury. 55 left his feet too so not sure if you can consider it clean. No need for him to do that though.

Remember in 2018... where the Jets beat Vegas in game 1 only to lose the next 4. MTL looks to have a bit more jump right now. Maybe the Jets will start picking up the pace more. Still lots of hockey left and 3-1 is not insurmountable.
