Game 63 : Islanders @ Executive Decision
I'd play Petan between Perrault and Stafford... Forgot to give props to Copp, he's great on PK.

Game 63 : Islanders @ Executive Decision
Give me a break... Ehlers takes a puck in the face and squirms less than Burmi did after that slash. Not feeling the Hamonic love either, to me, he looks about the same as Myers but with less offensive skill. Would be a great second D but I don't think he's much of a difference from what we have now... no way Im giving up Trouba for him. Armia, Ehlers, Scheif really hitting their stride. Chemistry developing with Trouba and Myers. Dano looking better, nice grinder but he really ends up playing RW even when he's lined up on the left. Would like to see Petan called up if Peluso is hurt.

Game 63 : Islanders @ Executive Decision
Get that diving piece of crap off this team. Its embarrassing. Burmi working on his second fine of the season.

Game 63 : Islanders @ Executive Decision
Classic Jets game... dominate early then let it juuuust slip away... I like it. Be interesting to see what our difference in PK time is before and after Stuart injury...

Game 63 : Islanders @ Executive Decision
Harmonic totally got busted pitching and almost led to a Jets goal... but sure he's better than Trouba after almost one period of analysis ha Love seeing the PK pair of Lowry and Armia. Wish they would give Copp someone better than Thorburn to work with... why not Copp and Dano on PK? What purpose is Peluso serving out there?

You seriously can't figure out that he meant Korey Banks?

2017-2018 Starting Lineup
Lowry and Scheif have way more face-offs than Copp... hard to say he's the best when he's not going against the opposition's best. He has comparable FO numbers to Burmi... time to give Copp a chance to show what he can do, what is the harm of playing him between Perrault and Stafford...

Bombers FA Signings 2016
Crazy name guy! He's my new favourite bomber.

Game 63 : Islanders @ Executive Decision
Don't understand leaving Copp buried on the 4th line... give the guy a chance to play, season is over. Burmi experiment over.

Don't we have three threads like this already?

2017-2018 Starting Lineup
At the top of the page you talk about trading for Drouin or getting Enstrom to waive his NMC... but signing a free agent is crazy talk, ha If Chevy gets a handle on Trouba and Schiefele's contracts, I think we will see one decent FA signing...

Scott Gomez signed by Ottawa... there goes their playoff dreams...

2017-2018 Starting Lineup
Has Stafford ever played LW? I can't recall seeing him there. Little at RW? You're trading Perrault? Just don't see any combo other than ESW then Perrault-Little-Armia to start the season... bottom six talent level will be considerably higher, think we make the playoffs next year - Lemieux in lineup for sure too
-
2017-2018 Starting Lineup
Lucic would be a real nice signing but think there's too much competition. If you could get Hamhuis for a two year contract that would be good Darren Helm, Spaling, Matthias probably the kind of signing we get...
-
2017-2018 Starting Lineup
Scheifele is our #1 centre, pencil Little in as 2nd line ESW Perrault-Little-Armia Connor-Lowry-Stafford Lemieux-Copp-Dano (Thorburn, Burmi) Trouba-Buff Enstrom-Myers Morrissey-Postma (Chiarot, Stuart) Helle-Pavs Eventually, Connor and Perrault change places... I could see this team making the playoffs, barely. Would be nice to see Hamonic here, trade Staff and Enstrom for something at the draft Maybe sign a good 2nd line winger and give Connor another year in Michigan

We be tankin' it (official tanking thread) ...
Goalie likes recapping things just in case we didn't understand how the draft works.

Wow, dogfight for last... not much space between 1st overall pick and 8th

Manitoba Moose
So... Stempniak would have been a waste of roster space... but we should call up Raffl and maybe re-sign him

Game 62 : Panthers @ Turbulence
Wow, not feeling the Burmi love... yeah he made a nice play but the guy doesn't play a position, he just chases the puck all over the ice. How can anyone play with this guy... Like the pairing of Postma-Chiarot... people giving up on Chiarot way too soon Might as well put Dano on RW - he ends up on that side anyway... reminds me of Burmi, hope that changes soon How many years do we have to watch Enstrom-Buff have zero chemistry Would like to see: ESW Perrault-Lowry-Armia Petan-Copp-Stafford Thorburn-Burmi-Dano

Everyone knows that its the 1st round and the 2nd that count in the CFL draft... including all OL that were picked is, again, a bogus stat. If you want to go that route, then include Quinn Everett... 'The bombers had an outstanding 50% success rate while drafting OL in the 2014 draft.... ' To pat yourself on the back for a successful 2nd overall pick is something only the bombers would do... and rightfully so after IMWT.

I have no idea what your point is now - you just admitted Stemp is better than a bunch of vets on the roster... and then claim that his spot would cost a young player development time. Then you say Stemp is too good for the roles we need... how can a player be 'too good' if you signed him on a PTO? Maybe Ehlers progresses faster if he's playing with Stempniak instead of Thorburn for the first half of the season? Armia didn't get a shot until Scheif was injured really... Very basic... Stempniak competes with Burmi, Thorburn, Halischuk for spots... our bottom half is a problem this year. To be clear. Stempniak replaces Thorburn on the third line for the first half of the season... this affect no youth development, nothing. Just makes this team better. The end.

A lot of fans wondered if the Jets would run into depth problems back in September... I'd say almost all of us predicted a step back this year...
