We're Bomber fans, sure we won a cup but we still fear the worst always.

Bombers Signings
https://3downnation.com/2021/01/07/bombers-have-to-pay-the-price-of-winning-with-decisions-on-big-ticket-players/ This is the article mentioned. A few of the salaries (Neufeld and Couture) seem high.

Covid-19
Totally agree. I'd love for the gyms to be open but can wait. I feel like 25% capacity allows us to buy some non essentials (I need some new pants too) and allows small businesses to make some money (worried about people losing jobs, businesses, homes etc) but in a controlled way. I suggested the travel ban/quarantine due to Ontario and Saskatchewan's numbers. I don't want to see us open it up like say July right away.

Covid-19
Great to see the numbers going in the right direction. Personally I'd like to see things opened a little on Jan 23. Perhaps businesses at 25% capacity, non essential goods available in store, you can bubble with one other household but with a 14 day quarantine for anybody coming from out of province.

Are you saying they're making offers they can't refuse. Are people being told take the offer or sleep with the fishes?😀

Jeffcoat+Gray+Antigua, this day is fantastic. Kyle Walters is making the other 8 GMs look like Chumps.

2021 (??) CFL Season
On Dom Davis, when you can sign a guy who had 5 TD passes and 14 INTs in one season, you jump at the chance. Apparently.

Kyle Walters isn't playing around. A ton of great signings. I like have Taylor and Matson back on D and who doesn't love Miller on STs?

Pallister's buddy who helped run their last two campaigns and who is now one of the chief civil servants just spent two weeks in Ontario with family and did not have to quarantine upon return. **** Pallister and his government. The media should just keep asking him over and over why do you tell Manitobans one thing and allow for this until he gives a legit answer.

2020-21 NFL Discussion Thread
So Boomer takes the shot at Streveler and the CFL after the play. **** that guy, there is a reason they replaced him. Maybe he could talk about his losing record as a starter and his 3 seasons with a winning record as a QB.

Streveler is struggling but its fun to watch him play again.

It was nice they showed the GC pics but should have shown his TD run vs Calgary in the playoffs or mentioned he was playing injured. They have a ton of staffers, due some research.

I agree on both counts, just an observation.

Alberta historically votes conservative no matter what. From 1935-1971, you have Social Credit (essentially a conservative party), followed by the PCs from 1971-2015. 4 years of the NDP and now the UCP. Its remarkable really.

Finally I can go back to the library. Been avoiding it for 20 years ever since I didn't return that copy of Tropic of Cancer.
