It'll be interesting to see both teams injury reports today.

Shay and Smith were high draft picks with better pedigrees and measurables. Corcoran is a late round flyer, with a so so pedigree and fairly poor measurables for a receiver (4.8 40 time and a 27 inch vertical, for example).

4 for 49 in two pre season games. He was ok but nothing special. A lot of 4th quarter and second half production too against guys who got cut. He's slow with a meh vertical and other middling combine scores. Hard work only gets you do far.

Woli has been on the roster the last two games for Hamilton so I'll assume he's healthy. He was just behind Smith, BOLO and Bruggling when it came to Canadian receivers for Hamilton.

I'd take Woli over Cobb and Corcoran.

Packers cut Clifford too.

Corcoran should be nowhere near a starting spot. Ditto for Cobb. Then again, Hogan should be nowhere near an OC job so what do I know?

Luke Wilson does not come across like he knows a lot about the CFL.

He had 4 ST tackles. He's good but its a luxury and one we can't afford. Woods taking 15-20 reps at DT (or more) would help our club way more than Ayers playing teams.

Woods for Ayers, Bailey for Weitz would give you say Vaughters/Lawson/Adams/Jefferson starting with Woods, Shcemekel, Person and Baily rotating in. Would seem to be the way to go against the Riders.

Moore and Echols are ok, at least they both have experience. Moore I assume takes the Stern role (I assume he's out long term). Does anybody know why Moore didn't play last year? Heck both are better than Corcoran and Cobb.

That's what I was refering to. Seemed to be something that should be checked out. Then again, didn't something similar happen this year and he played in the next game?

So Harris, did he get concussed last game? Took some good shots and its seemed like he did.

How healthy is Harris?

I'd be surprised if Wilson made a large amount of NIL $. He was at FSU between 2018-2022, NIL only came in for 2021. So two years tops and he was a guy putting up 400-500 yards per year.

Always good to see the Riders lose.

Is Wilson a guy who is going to get looks from other teams?

MOS and KW have eight straight 10+ win seasons (with a shot at a 9th), 6 straight WF trips, 5 straight Grey Cup berths with two Grey Cup wins. The team has sold out the first 6 home games with the 7th getting close. Yeah, we're frustrated with both of them but it would be a total surprise if either is let go.

I am frustrated by both MOS and KW this year but I'm not advocating they get fired, nor do I think they will.

Usually GMs get to make decisions on coaches. @GCn20 do you think Wade would fire Walters, hire a new GM but tell said GM Hire that Osh stays?

I know it will be Tuesday before we hear updates but a few thoughts: 1. I hope they don't rush Schoen back. No medical knowledge but he just has not seemed 100% healthy all year. 2. A WR corps of Wheatfall, Clercius, Corcoran, Mitchell, Cobb and that kid we signed last month is horrible looking on paper and scary af. 3. Walters has dropped the ball on the WR position this year. Even if they had picked up Hollins and say Mayala, we'd be in better shape.
