Have to agree. There are maybe a couple of people around here who just bring every discussion back to Osh and his roster management. He is certainly worthy of both praise and criticism for it but at this point I just read the comments and wonder if I'm getting trolled. Winning is hard. Maybe Osh's roster decisions impacted the last two Cup losses. There is certainly an argument for it. But without Osh we don't win two straight Cups in the first place either. I am sick and tired of hearing how we would be undefeated and have won more Cups, etc if only they had listened to someone on the internet.

Didn't watch the game but pulling Rourke down 9 at the half sure seems like an odd move.

If Strev is out long term, which is obviously highly likely, I really do think Wilson will be bumped into the QB2 role...BUT they will add a veteran somehow as the third guy, with a chance to swap him in if things go poorly. OL wasn't perfect but still pretty solid today. Bryant back after the bye gives us the original starting five - with the hope that health has helped the problem for some, like Neufeld.

I think this is very close to the truth. He is probably too loyal, but also it is that loyalty that pays off when we see how it plays into the culture and also player development.

Most successful era in decades and some folks here are working hard to diminish his accomplishments. Can't wait to see his statue someday.

LaPo is really good at this stuff. TSN should be using him as their top guy, actual analysis makes the game more enjoyable. Sadly we're getting Suitor tomorrow, so get ready to hear all the standard talking points from the 1990s.

I too would dress another DL, but in the "pressure vs coverage" debate all DCs must face it seems pretty clear what Younger prefers. Defense wasn't very good last week but also got handed a tough script once Collaros was out. Overall still think Younger has them on track now.

NFL already figured this out. People want to see the star QBs play and that means protecting them as much as possible. Sask could have - and still may have - altered our season and all it cost them was one penalty.

Biggest thing this week to me will be Buck Pierce and his plan. Collaros had the back pick but other than that suddenly had the offense moving. If we need Strev then Buck needs to find a way to manufacture a pass game.

We have some major flaws but folks, we just won a LDC and are in first place despite an 0-4 start. Tonight I'm celebrating.

That was the weirdest ending I've seen in a long time. Labour Day games are always crazy but this nearly killed me. When that kick was dead straight I screamed. Thank goodness he was short. We deserved that. I don't want to hear more about Micah Johnson when our QB was injured on a clearly intentional play.

It's just an old photo of Jake Ireland on a spinner, the time it takes to review the call depends on if someone spins it fast or slow. (This is not actually a shot at Ireland because it was not even as bad when he was there)

Also worth noting is how open the media is to criticising the CC. They've sometimes touched the topic quickly or quietly but now it's so blatant that even they are openly pointing out the flaws.

At this point they just need to get everyone on the same page. You've got refs on the field making two different calls at once (one spotting the football after a catch, the other ruling incomplete). You've got TSN guys saying this looks like he doesn't have possession and it's ruled a catch by the CC. And then sometimes the CC just throws themselves into it when a ref just butchers it all. You could show controversial plays to a coach, player, and fan and I'm not sure they would agree with the refs most times. That's the problem. No one knows anything about anything, and it's happening five times a game now.

Ya to me he caught it, turned and fumbled into his own hands. We see these types of catch-fumbles all the time. Only difference this time is he was in the air, landed and fumbled.

To be honest I think one takeaway from this game is that some of the backups are backups for a reason. First example is Eli who still struggles to pass block. But the new LBs struggled too.

One thing that doesn't matter now but the Wilson incomplete at the end of the game somewhat looked like a catch and fumble. Especially give the Hamilton "catch" earlier.

Did not think they would score a TD there but very happy to be wrong. Collaros was freaking awful but put one good drive through to Dave us. Lots to work on but a W for the good guys sends the crowd home happy.

You can tell the CC is holding the hands of these refs constantly. There is no way they overturn this despite the fact White never actually holding the ball long enough.

This game just flat out sucks
