wasn't a strong arm but it was good enough, fast enough to run when he needed to, certainly a lot faster than the likes of Ray or Calvillo right now. Lots of ints sure but a hell of a lot more TDs and a hell of a lot of wins in his time as a bomber qb. When speaking of receivers just think about 2002 for a while... Jones through 46 tds, almost enough for a record, Stegall had 23 but one was from Barnes so 22 from Jones, that still leaves 24 tds for Jones, only Calvillo threw more than 24 tds in 2002, that's a staggering number. even without his top receiver Jones was still top 2 in td passes. Not to mention that Charles Roberts was in double digits in touchdowns as well. People maybe forget what happened to his shoulder in his last bit of time here. It was damaged and never able to recover properly. It's also worth pointing out that in Calgary he did have some success, the problem was that he was brought in by Dunigan and when he was fired they wanted to turn the page completely and with Jones being one of Dunigans moves he had to go to make way for Burris. Bottom line people who don't think Khari was a very good to great qb are morons. 46 TDs.... have we even thrown for that many TD's in the 3 years with LaPolice and Burke all combined????

That'll probably be our situation this time next year, unless you have faith in Sandra. Way more then I ever did with Westwood or Serna. Plus Palardy will always be a phone call away.... or Cameron....

Why are people complaining, do we not forget when Berry refused to replace Westwood and/or having scrubs coming in and out and us ending up with Serna as our best option??

I would be concerned about ticket sales.... I'm a pretty big hardcore fan and I haven't even gone to a game this season to check out the new place yet...... when I would rather hang out with the wife and the baby and watch honey boo boo over going to see the Blue play live.... you know the team is the drizzling poops....

I also knew that Boatmen wasn't the answer and that Buck shouldn't be over Goltz in the depth chart.... Funny thing. Boatman used to be an Argo...Bluto said the same thing about him as soon as he signed here. I have no issues with them trying out the guy and seeing if maybe a change of scenery might make a difference.... but I think he's had way more then enough time to prove his worth and clearly he has been a C+ level player at best. Him being a import just blows my mind since in the past we would bring in quite a bit of import players to try out on the oline. It's not like they are impossibru to find....

Lol Sherritt was the shits before he got hurt and that defense has been atrocious and gives giant cushions to receivers. Marshall's defense is horrible.... they should of kept Nelson....

Rogers, Freddie Mitchell, Andre rison, Williams all were head cases that Toronto brought in. This guy had injuries but he seems to be decent , has his charity and seems like good guy. Why wouldn't the team try him out? He is replacing Anderson who was extremely mediocre. The potential for this dude is way higher and well worth the risk. Anyone complaining or putting this move in a negative light is a hater and is not a real fan.

Hef has moments, but he also has lots of bad penalties and brain farts. He needs more focus that's for sure.

Well the club clearly could of spent more wisely on a free new guys. But I have no issues with them not signing old guys like Simon or Bruce.

It's a solid signing and how can anyone complain ? The dude has way better stats then most receivers that are brought into the league.

The few games I watched Hefney , he didn't play all that great and whiffed on tackles and has been burned on TDs. The reason he isn't starting is because he's inconsistent and not a great cover guy. He's like a smaller Kyries...

Never heard of him either but looked at the stats and the one good year he had he was pretty much identical in stats with Calvin Johnson.... Kind of odd that he hasn't been on a team in 2 seasons after being fairly productive...

I will say this... in my life experiences whenever myself (or coworkers) had no respect for the boss.... our productivity was absolute rock bottom and the sheer lazyness and going through the motions was through the roof. I believe it's the same as with what is happening to the Blue with Burke. I think they have mentally checked right out.... they did the same to LaPolice since he was essentially nearly as bad as Burke. Burke will never command the respect from a complete team, unless he does a 180 and actually acts like a leader and gains the respect of his players.... the team simply just won't play hard for him at all. All of the evidence is showing that this is the case. Burke really s hould get a demotion.....

Okay, I can accept that if you accept that he'll never be the reason if we ever win. Bingo bango.... Most other qbs might face the pressure and struggle and probably piss away a few possessions... but when the defense is making the same plays against you all night long... you can't hit denmark with a quick pass and let him burn them for some easy 20 yard gains? Glenn made it look easy the other night simply getting the ball and immediately lobbing it above the blitzers and right into the dude replacing cornish or is slotbacks hands giving them an easy first down..... It just seems that Pierce can't throw it to a receiver who is on the run... always seems like he waits until the route is finished and then underthrows it leaving them to come back to the ball and missing the first down...

considering how similar it looks to what Hamilton did last year it's Creehans scheme. Remember when the bombers played man coverage? Now all we're doing it seems is playing the softest zone in football. This just reminds me of the Greg Marshall defense

In fairness to Buck he was under siege for most of the game... HOWEVER many of those plays he hung onto the ball way to long. He definitely needed to do his Kevin Glenn impression and make some quick passes to help suppress the massive blitzes. Burke needs to choose his words more wisely.... I wouldn't be happy with less then 100 yards unless the rb was running for over 200....
