  1. He made one of the greatest defensive plays to seal a GC, I'll never forget it. But.................
  2. A rose by any other name.. would stink yeesh
  3. Definitely allstar material
  4. Kola caught his own swanging cod on that one
  5. First time? LOL j/k we do like our soft as baby **** zone tho
  6. We've relied on pressure from the Dline for so long, have we ever been that good in coverage or was it all pressure?
  7. Red Lobster at the very least
  8. keep the faith ya'll lots of time yet
  9. Agreed, but I still am glad for the challenge, we've had enough BS
  10. They tried to get Ron Howard, but who can afford him?
  11. #19 looked a little flat footed against TOR from what I could tell from the concourse. I forgot he was Kyrie til I checked the program to be sure
  12. Only three guarantees in life. Death, Taxes, and Brady Oliveira scoring against BC tonight.
  13. Gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette?
  14. I'm still hopeful but lately not too keen on Gray but he is still better than Dobson was in his first start. I've grown to be a Kola fan as I've glued my eyes to the OL this season and think he is much maligned on this board but I really don't feel like arguing tonight so I'll leave it at that. I am excited to see Eli in a pass pro situation. As has been pointed out before, he's mostly just been used to clobber people in a running situation and he has done well at it but seeing him defend stunts etc will be a nice litmus test before he sees reps at C, assuming he can read defenses and call out protection properly
  15. Yikes, every week feels like 1 step forward 2 steps back with Ford, so much promise followed up with so much flop. The talent is there no doubt, can't give up on him yet, but he needs to dial it in
  16. Hey now, the Royal Botanical Gardens are nothing to sniff at. That is probably the end of the list though.
  17. Intersting. I mean, Walters selected Schmeckel and presumably brought in Jackson to begin with. If they're such lesser players why were they even brought to camp? Or maybe the players released weren't as good as their press clippings made them out to be. Mario Urrutia comes to mind. How do we know Deng even showed up in shape? Burtenshaw? Oh no we lost a Canadian FB, such a crucial position in the o... all that said, gun to my head I'd roll with Walters and let OShea head home out East if I could only choose one. Walters has been with the blue through a lot, as a coach first then as a GM. Not an easy choice, one I hope we don't ever have to make.
  18. I used to be happy just to make the playoffs. Hosting the playoffs? Dare to dream! These are the good times, I hope everyone is enjoying them
  19. You go right on ahead and compare Salima to two of the greatest QB's the CFL has produced haha I won't stop you, but Collaros and Ray were never once cut from any CFL team and even at his lowest point of his career Collaros was still viewed as a good QB with injury issues and was being dealt for conditional picks that eventually led to his Blue and Gold revenge tour. Ricky Ray was driving truck following his college career when he got the call from the 49ers, years before he ever arrived in the CFL. His San Francisco teammates gave him the moniker Frito-Ray. Ricky Ray was playing pro ball in some indoor league for Rick Worman who sent him the CFL's way. I like the MBT comparison, since he actually spent time on a CFL PR before being cut and brought in by someone else the following season. Although, he had a pretty high profile for a never-done-nothin QB at his age because of all his NFL stints, so everyone around the league had probably heard of him already, which may account for him getting more chances than others do. I'm not saying Salima is no good, same goes for the rest of our recent cuts, they may resurface and we've brought guys back before for second looks too. I'm just saying maybe they aren't as good as we fans like to think/hope they are. Pigrome was our next big up and comer, til he wasn't, and now he can't get a look ahead of Dustin Crum. We fans do like to get ahead of ourselves some times is all
