do or die

Wheeler played most of the year with cracked ribs.......it's what we do around here, it seems....

Before we throw the baby out with the bathwater, we need to consider the following: PLD gets traded from a D orientated team, to one coached by Maurice (who may never solve the central zone box, in our lifetime) He has to sit out 2 week quarantine, then promptly gets a concussion. He is also in the PM line blender, while going through this. Does not look too bad, scores some big goals......then he appeared to tweek something, during the 2 game blowout series with Leafs. Since then we see flashes, but mostly a guy who is now far less physical out there and puck handling becomes shaky He does not completely extend himself even in the act of hitting , or bend his upper body ever slightly. Shots are now muffins. Some zoom shots of him, clearly shows "cupping marks" all over his neck. He is getting treated for something... My bet. Sports hernia, groin pull or something -that is not going to improve the rest of this year. 22 years old, with a mess of physical tools. But ya, bag his ass.

...at least there will be social distancing, masks, and the appropriate transport for attendees.....right? Traveled to Myanmar in the 90's. This "comparison" is utterly grotesque, even by Trumpian standards.

Helly. Also, with this setup, you won't see Jets forwards zooming through the neutral zone on the rush.....Forbort and Benn are slow and slower, chip and run guys, Poolman is a better skater, but is like a car without a steering wheel, the steadiness and poise of Stanley, this year has somewhat evaporated, in this series.

From a distance, one could say that the Jets lost a couple of games by one goal. Truth is....Jets have been a disorganized mess, from the get go. Going nowhere like this.. Tonight Price had to put in like 2 minutes of work (on an 6 on 5) Benn, Poolman, Forbert and Stanley in the lineup, together ....is not a formula for success. Don't know if Wheeler has completed a pass yet.... PLD keeps his body "tucked in" no matter what he is doing. Sport hernia or some groin thing..... Only buttons Maurice is currently pushing....are the ones on his shirt Looks like a bunch of player tryouts, out there. One last chance to make a series out of this.....Game 3

55 was pissed off, had plenty of runway on a guy in a vulnerable position, chose to follow through. As a first time offender he'll get 1 or 2. If Stas does not come back, we are down 2 Centers. From the puck drop, right to the end.....Jets simply played a lot of dumb hockey, tonight.

Was....

Marner: 0 goals in 17 playoffs games. You can't even make this stuff up

Nick Foligno cost the Leafs......a 1st and two 4ths Just can't stop laughing...

Let them eat waffles....

Remember the good ole days when Leaf fans were talking about how M&M were an unstoppable force and Simmonds, Thornton, and Foligno had given them character and new-found truculence? Like, 2 weeks ago. 😁

That was some disappearing act from "Magic" Marner.....

Matthews- Marner 7G 3 points -11 LOL

CBC panel between periods, with plenty of moral victories for TO.

Leafs forfeit Game 7 to save everyone the trouble https://www.thebeaverton.com/2021/05/leafs-forfeit-game-7-to-save-everyone-the-trouble/

Haven't been around much. Spending a lot of time on HF Boards, these days. Fascinating stuff, at times.... But I expect the fresher Jets to just run the 4 lines and jump all over whichever team shows up.

Remember, Flynn was the United States National Security Advisor. Trump sure knew how to put the best people in the best places....

Toronto needs to wrap this up, tonight. No way they want a 7, when anything goes. To say nothing of the physiological damage this could do to Leaf Nation.

Nice to have guys, who would give their left one, for a win...

If Oilers lose out - disappointment If Leafs lose out - choke

Almost 2 months of floating around as mostly a perimeter player, close to zero effort when puck not on stick, late line changes after long shifts......and in general, resembles a guy who has already missed his bus.

Of course Stanley came out. Nobody can mess with Poolbort

....who is probably labouring in a cubicle, somewhere....

Don't want expandable memory on my phone, anymore. Must be the Pfizer....
