  1. Yup. That's so Winnipeg.
  2. With Castillo, we have the option for him to handle all the kicking and free-up another Cdn roster spot.
  3. Depends on who's Mourtada shows up, though. I can see the Bombers giving him this week and cut him during the bye.
  4. It’s expected Castillo will arrive in Winnipeg while the Bombers are on a bye week next week and will complete a mandatory seven-day quarantine before joining the team. The earliest he could possibly play would be Nov. 6, when the Bombers host the Montreal Alouettes. The Bombers agreed to conditions on the fourth-round pick they sent to the Lions. Those conditions are linked to how the Bombers finish the season. It’s likely that it will become a higher pick if the Bombers win the Grey Cup. https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/bombers-hope-to-have-found-solution-to-kicking-woes-with-acquisition-of-cfl-all-star-sergio-castillo?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

  6. CASTILLO Punting - 44.4 average, longest 90yds (2016 vs Ott) FG - 80 made / 92 attempts 87%, 57 longest (2017 vs Ham) PAT - 55 made / 60 attempts KO - 61.5 average, 95 longest
  7. I would guess Castillo is not yet available for this week, hence Mourtada is not given the pink slip yet and we brought Ferraro.
  8. Early this season, no one is available though since Lirim and Castillo are still chasing NFL gigs... and who knew that BC holds Castillo rights.
  9. Yes we did. I just posted the link from CFL.ca
  10. WEST DIVISION Winnipeg WIN = Winnipeg clinches first place in the division; earns the right to host the Western Final on December 5 Winnipeg LOSS and Saskatchewan LOSS = Winnipeg clinches a home playoff date Winnipeg LOSS (by less than 21 points) and Calgary LOSS = Winnipeg clinches a home playoff date https://www.cfl.ca/2021/10/19/playoff-scenarios-bombers-eyeing-home-playoff-date/
  11. All of our OL are pending FA after this season: Bryant - signed a 1-year extension on Jan 5, 2021 Desjarlais - in the last year of his rookie-contract (I could be wrong though) Couture - signed 2-year extension on Feb 10, 2020 Neufeld - signed 1-year extension on Jan 19 2021 Hardrick - signed 1-year extension on Dec 30 2020 Eli - in the last year of his rookie-contract (I could be wrong though) Gray - signed a one-year contract extension on Jan 8, 2021.
  12. it doesnt matter though they’re both freeagent after this season.
  13. They dont play exclusively on the spot they're slotted on the depth chart. They move around, if you haven't noticed it yet.

  15. His name is in there but the status says CUT.
  16. Maybe he wants to re-do the "All By Myself" ad by Expedia
  17. Remaining games... WPG - BC ---- MTL @MTL @CGY SSK - @CGY @MTL @EDM EDM @HAM CGY - SSK @OTT ---- @BC WPG BC - @WPG @TOR @HAM CGY EDM I think we have the easiest remaining schedule BC has the heaviest. Cgy has the most division games remaining Ssk has the most road games remaining (4)
  18. We will clinch the division this weekend. Book it! I don't really care about the back to back with the Als, whether we lose any or not. But I want the Bombers to beat the Stamps on our last regular game. Just to tell Bo that "They’re finding out who they are right now, and we’re going to continue to show that to them."
  19. If we win even just 1 of our remaining games we will still have the best record in the West at 10-4. The best record that Cgy and BC can come up is 9-5, Ssk can finish at 10-4 but we have the tie breaker.
  20. Agree here. Should try Gray since he’s more of a technician than a brawler which I believe is require more on a tackle. Or try any of our 2 American OL in PR. If Yoshi’s out for a long time, I say we should try trading for Derek Dennis from Elks.
  21. Walters must be on the phone talking about trade involving Whyte.
  22. Im guessing Elks will pursue Arbuckle.
  23. That means we will be seeing Trevor Harris 2 more times. 👍
