Yup. That's so Winnipeg.

With Castillo, we have the option for him to handle all the kicking and free-up another Cdn roster spot.

Depends on who's Mourtada shows up, though. I can see the Bombers giving him this week and cut him during the bye.

Week 12 Lions @Champs pre game talk
It’s expected Castillo will arrive in Winnipeg while the Bombers are on a bye week next week and will complete a mandatory seven-day quarantine before joining the team. The earliest he could possibly play would be Nov. 6, when the Bombers host the Montreal Alouettes. The Bombers agreed to conditions on the fourth-round pick they sent to the Lions. Those conditions are linked to how the Bombers finish the season. It’s likely that it will become a higher pick if the Bombers win the Grey Cup. https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/bombers-hope-to-have-found-solution-to-kicking-woes-with-acquisition-of-cfl-all-star-sergio-castillo?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

I would guess Castillo is not yet available for this week, hence Mourtada is not given the pink slip yet and we brought Ferraro.

Mourtada
Early this season, no one is available though since Lirim and Castillo are still chasing NFL gigs... and who knew that BC holds Castillo rights.

it doesnt matter though they’re both freeagent after this season.- Give McGuire game reps
They dont play exclusively on the spot they're slotted on the depth chart. They move around, if you haven't noticed it yet.- 2021 (??) CFL Season

Remaining games... WPG - BC ---- MTL @MTL @CGY SSK - @CGY @MTL @EDM EDM @HAM CGY - SSK @OTT ---- @BC WPG BC - @WPG @TOR @HAM CGY EDM I think we have the easiest remaining schedule BC has the heaviest. Cgy has the most division games remaining Ssk has the most road games remaining (4)- Week 12 Lions @Champs pre game talk
We will clinch the division this weekend. Book it! I don't really care about the back to back with the Als, whether we lose any or not. But I want the Bombers to beat the Stamps on our last regular game. Just to tell Bo that "They’re finding out who they are right now, and we’re going to continue to show that to them."- Week 12 Lions @Champs pre game talk
If we win even just 1 of our remaining games we will still have the best record in the West at 10-4. The best record that Cgy and BC can come up is 9-5, Ssk can finish at 10-4 but we have the tie breaker.- Week 12 Lions @Champs pre game talk
Agree here. Should try Gray since he’s more of a technician than a brawler which I believe is require more on a tackle. Or try any of our 2 American OL in PR. If Yoshi’s out for a long time, I say we should try trading for Derek Dennis from Elks.- 2021 (??) CFL Season
Walters must be on the phone talking about trade involving Whyte.- 2021 (??) CFL Season
Im guessing Elks will pursue Arbuckle.- 2021 (??) CFL Season
That means we will be seeing Trevor Harris 2 more times. 👍- GDT Game 2: @ Baby Sharks
