Wild will be back in Bombers uniform once he gave up on NFL. With a considerable cap space its hard to believe that Walters will not throw a big $$$ to get Heenan Dressler will be a nice addition but I rather have a big physical receiver added since we lost the physicality of Watson. E.Jackson can fill that physicality and much more.

Maybe Walters is trying to extend Watson and he denied it and (1) expressed intentions to be traded close to home or (2) will walk out as FA after this year and sign on any East team. So Walters, instead of losing him for nothing, pull the trade when Taman bit the bait.

You'll get over it quick when you see a Heenan on a blue&gold jersey.

If I'm putting a nameplate on a Bombers jersey, the safe name could be any of this.... Walters, Kyle or GM. ...because judging from what he is doing, he is not going anywhere.

Agreed. imo someone has to be going out of here. we can't afford to keep everyone. the good ship taman will be under siege for this move. can't say anything bad about Watson but the guy can't stay healthy. Another roll the dice move by the riders this winter. Taman might have given up to the Heenan and Dressler sweepstakes this early.

Right now our Nat receivers are Kohlert, F-Gudino and Bastien. Brett Carter is a pending FA, wonder if Walters will re-sign him. And what's the latest with Goodrich and our draft pick Alli.

Pretty sure it's lower than the $225k that Getzlaf is receiving.

I was hoping they would trade Watson for the rights to Evan Gill. I don't know much about Bastien but getting another high pick on a deep draft pool doesn't hurt either.

Hence the first post in this thread I mean to deflect the notion that Miles is coming here and Missick will go to Rider. Missick is the first choice. Maybe Miles will be a consideration if Bombers didnt get Missick.
