I always go back to something Walters said about having to wait on a lot of guys they've been recruiting for a long time now. Sometimes, he (the scouts) could have been recruiting a guy for years, but you can't put a gun to their head and make them come north. It may seem like he's not able to recruit well at a certain position, but maybe they just haven't been able to get their best options to come north yet..

We've got LB bodies on the roster already, who are potentially better than what we "lost" and I have no doubt a few more will be in camp. Not concerned at all, and have high hopes for Will Smith at MACK...

Thomas + replaces Sholo.... Nevis replaces Cummings. For sure. But in no way is Thomas a downgrade from Sholo.

Maybe I'm a homer, but the Will Smith signing makes me completely forget about Bass and Burnett...

All the talking heads seem to think the Bombers go DL at #1...likely a big reason we don't make a play for a vet one...

The thing is, even at his best, Dough Alert was a forgotten guy in our offense. Used primarily as a blocker and decoy route, he was the last guy on the tree. I'm not sure that role will change a whole lot in Calgary, but I wish him nothing but success. Always seemed like a really good guy who worked hard and was all about the team....

wow...The Fever......interesting. I've never been a fan of the guy, but whatever...let him compete with Davis and may the best man win.
