Someone said something about a locker room issue like someone sleeping with someone else's wife......I'm not saying it's THAT per se, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if there was a "situation" within the room that's causing a lot of internal strife among the players. This team just looks like they're playing out the string and not a group of 23 (or whatever) playing for one another. There's definitely some kinda cancer in the room....wouldn't surprise me at all.

With Harvard Regina, you pretty much have a job for life with "decent" pay....

Apparently Michael Ball, who co-hosts the morning show on The Wolf (sister station to CKRM) was in the running and wanted it really badly, but they have such consistently high ratings on The Wolf, that management didn't want to take him off that.

So I can't seem to find any actual proof of it yet, but the buzz around the media world is that Derek Taylor from TSN is moving to Regina to take over the Riders PBP gig vacated by Rowdy Rod at CKRM......

Owners will never go for it, but the league could really use to cut back to like 65-70 games. Would make a huge difference in the overall quality of the game, especially late in the season...
