I still haven't seen any of the Chris Pratt JP movies....had no real desire to (loved the original trilogy, tho...) but I suppose now I'll have to watch them to get caught up.
So I was there tonight. Morrissey captaining a Moose opening night roster. Thought JM was damn good, both AHL goalies played well, and Berdin deking Looch out his jock was fun. Boring hockey game and if I'm the fLames, I'd be worried about how they looked vs an AHL team...
I get that it's cool for little girls, but man that movie got a lot of hype... And fuxk it's not like the song was even that good. I don't understand why people liked it so much and were falling over themselves for a sequel.
I personally think it has more to do with the fact that they're playing BC this week. He's being all holier-than-thou about "accepting his punishment" but if it was Calgary they were playing, I'm wondering if he doesn't appeal...
I don't know what to make of this, just yet.......I feel like Sandler is channeling some kinda combo of Al Pacino and John Turturro.....

Going to see fLames vs Moose tonight at the Saddledome. Glad we didn't pay much for our tix, 'cause there really isn't much worth watching tonight, from the TNSE side of things. Fully expecting a dirty beating by Calgary...
I'd heard all the hype, so we watched it, and I had the "......what the hell was that........?" moment. It's by far the most overrated Disney project of all time. Do not understand the hype at all...
I think they could have benefited from TV shows people actually watch.....I've never seen 95% of the shows that won, and am only aware of about half of them. Thankful for an SNL win, anyhow...
...as for the show itself, I thought Thomas Lennon was really funny with the random voice-overs throughout the show.
Essentially, to help broadcasters get better, I listen to their work with them and point out things they did well, and things they can improve upon. It's called airchecking... Just one small part of my job.
