I'm in the process of rewatching the entire 2019 season on my PVR. Last weekend was the Banjo Bowl: Strev Runs Wild... It's really just an incredible season. A wild story.

lol @ an olympic curling event without Canada. We could put 5 or 6 teams into that event and most would make playoffs. And 3 of those would be Manitoba. **** every other country.

it's been mentioned several times since Tuesday that we took futures picks because we still have to evaluate last year's draft class, and having two years of draft class in camp along with everyone else would be way too much. Spreading things out a little bit now....

Hopefully you guys can learn from AB and lock it down hard and fast. Even just for a month, to give the vaccines a chance to work. It was interesting watching the little featurette during the intermission last night of the 2018 team beating Nash in G7 that year...... you can't help but think this team just doesn't have anywhere near the same juice that team did. Helle might be a better goalie now, but other than that....I'm not sure this team is even nearly as good as that one. Especially on the back end...

The RCMP and Health and Safety should have the mandate to go in and shut down any business that isn't complying with masking/general COVID safety guidelines...

I really thought AB was kind of the last one in Canada, and once we got things fixed, then the country as a whole would be on the upswing.....but MB might actually be tailing us. First step: Move all schools to online learning for at least this month, if not the rest of the year. The vaccines don't have a chance to work if you don't get the infections under control first....

Alberta announces 30+ eligibility starting Thursday, and on Monday, all Albertans age 12+ will be eligible. The floodgates have officially opened.... #GetItInYa

lots of good MB Vaxx news this morning.... general eligibility up to 45 years and older today. Also noted that every adult in the province will be able to get their shot by the end of this month, and nationally, due to the surge in vaccines, we'll be able to vaccinate 70% of the adult population by the end of this month. Fantastic news all around.

I'd like to say MOST of us here are really hoping so.... still a very loud contingent of crazies hoping for a relaxation of current measures, rather than creation/implementation of additional ones. JK has said that he believes our current measures should be enough, and that the real problem is that people don't want to follow them, and Alberta doesn't believe in enforcing the current rules. Alberta has always been and likely always will be a very libertarian state... but I, for one, am praying for Big Brother to put the hammer down for the good of everyone. We'll find out this afternoon....

so on top of our 2m Pfizer shots this week, we're getting 1m Moderna as well. The serious ramping up of vaccinations is coming.... in a Jason Kenney presser yesterday there was a brief mention of opening up shots to every adult who wants one within the week...
