Ya I'm not doing a happy dance in AB yet, because our TP is still 11%, and we're only seeing 7500ish tests per day. Overall numbers coming down but that TP is gross. Hospitals and ICU beds still overloaded and climbing. Apparently Kenney is announcing our relaunch plan next week, which will of course be WAY too much WAY too soon.... Oi.

Habs given permission to host 2500 fans at The Bell Centre starting May 28th...wow. Man that seems insane to me, but as a CFL fan, that's exciting to think about. Fans in stadiums is way safer than fans in arenas...

the short answer is you can't......you just have to try and limit him as much as possible. And be disciplined...don't give him any extra chances.

If the "Bounce" format is the same as others, then it's a hip-hop/dance/EDM kinda thing? That would be curious in the Winnipeg market....I'll go do some reading... *edit* Just looks like they're doing away with the BOB name....that's about all that's going on. Not sure if Howard Kroeger, who owns the rights to the name, is shutting it down, or is maybe charging more money for it or what....but all that's happening is a name change. I'll have to check on the "Jack" formats out west, which are related. Anyhow, format and announcers all staying the same at 94.3 in Wpg....good to hear.

I'm a media member who very much believes in "just the facts"..... sometimes that seems like fear mongering, but it's really just the reality. I'm still feeling hopeful for a Canada Day get together with my friends....... *insert fingers crossed emoji*

You guys are a couple of weeks behind us in AB......and I can give you a bit of a peek into the future: As much exponential growth as you're seeing now, you're going to see nearly equal exponential "decay", as they call it. The numbers are going to fall off a cliff once enough people are vaccinated (combined with people adhering to public health measures and the natural decline of cold/flu season come summer time). We went from more than 2000/day cases to just over 1000 in about a week. Active cases is falling every day by several hundred. Our hospitalizations are falling (tho the ICU is still up there and needs to come down...) Do what you can to limit your interactions with others....get vaccinated.......the good will come. Stay safe, my friends!

I turned 41 this year....feel every bit of "Middle Aged". Also, I'm a bit water guy....I love being on the water. Growing up in Pinawa, which is basically an island, you're always on the water. Always on a boat of some kind throughout summer. So I've been feeling this lately.......

Everybody thinks because Buff did this during one playoffs (2010 Hawks run) that any big guy can do it. There is one Buff...I don't know that there will ever be anything like him ever again. Extremely unique asset. Let's just worry about Stanley getting better at playing his current position...

Every team needs role players...Jets have some good ones. I really enjoy guys like Thompson and Lewis. You need those guys to win a Cup. They're not the reason the Jets are losing...

Love this... Listen, there's a whole generation of us that were brought up loving the 3 Down Game for what it is. Why can't another generation grow up loving it for what it is? Marketing is right.....how do we get through to those kids. I'm not willing to just give up and say "we can't do it - let's just go American..."

You guys are behind the national case rate right now, so it's going to be awhile till you start seeing trending in the right direction. Because you were one of the last provinces that introduced any mitigation measures, it'll be at least a couple of weeks yet before you start seeing the effect of that. The good news is, as more and more people get vaccinated, combined with the effect of the "restrictions" (insert eyeroll), the daily cases/TPR will "fall off a cliff" at some point...super sharp drop. But it's going to be a bit yet. Ontario seeing it now, Alberta will be two or three weeks yet, and then you guys will be behind that a little bit.......but it's coming. Eventually.

This is more than fair and very logical...

the Jets had one of the most effective PPs in the whole league until this recent slide. The PP, specifically, isn't the issue. There's something bigger at play, and the PP is just suffering as a by-product.

Really unimpressed with Dubois. Not sure what his future is, but I'm not inclined to make him a long term Jets player. For that little production, I'd be happy with someone younger like Perfetti as 3C and Lowry at 2C.
