Yeah, regarding that Safety spot....I really think Noah Hallett (he's supposed to be the better of the two) is going to be given every chance in the world to win that spot in camp. Just the way MOS loves his CIS success stories......he'd love to have a Canuck in there. Having said that, if he doesn't show well, I could definitely see one of the more veteran imports being slid over (Maston, etc...)

I know this will get laughed at but I'm wondering how completely shot Matt Nichols' arm is...... last year he looked as if he had zero arm strength, but if his arm was healed and he could throw again, I wouldn't be averse to him as strictly a back-up and then maybe transition into coaching/management after.....

I guess I had it in my head that every half decent player in the league would be fighting with each other for the chance to come to Winnipeg, and nobody'd ever want to leave, and we'd have our pick of every FA because this is the only place people want to play.
