I have no idea where all this Streveler negativity came from, but it seems to have shown up outta the blue right around playoff time this year. No idea what's driving it... He's costing us next to nothing, cap-wise, and could still be our future starter in 2025. Why do people all of a sudden think he sucks and is too expensive? Because he blew out every ligament in his knee? Or because Buck and the staff chose to use him as a bulldozer only?

I'm more than happy with Wilson backing up Collaros to start the year until Strev is ready. I don't give a shot who the 3rd is (could be a developmental for all I care) and then when Strev is back, everything goes back to normal.

Ya don't quote me, but I believe the CFL On TSN is its own product that TSN airs. The people working on it are, essentially, freelancers. I have no idea what the rates are in that situation, or how much Lapo would be making. My sizeable gut tells me that working on the broadcasts would pay well... The offseasons are less work than being a coach.... I'd bet an HC makes more, but coordinators likely make less. If Lapo owns his YouTube content outright (and isn't subsidiary to Bell/TSN) and gets enough followers, that can pay fairly well, as well....

Comrie has been excellent and is being let down by the guys in front. Saros also fantastic tonight. Jets just aren't sharp. Can't get the clear in front so Comrie takes multiple shots in one sequence.

I've really been trying to avoid conflict as much as possible, but I LOLed over this... So I'll share it even though it's going to cause a ruckus...

I worry about a guy doing all 3 and then each individual discipline isn't as good as it would be if he was just doing one thing. Also they really seem to love the Aussie for whatever reason. But... I'll be curious to see if they make a change. We thought they were married to Jackson and he was tossed with very little regard, so maybe...??

Indeed... It was all about their lines, and the defense in particular. Ricky Ray was probably the last QB of note in that organization...

Also 5 straight cups and 2 wins at the beginning of that run. People forget about the wins because it's convenient. Absolutely there are questions about why we can't finish the past few years and The Trinity will dive into that as a unit, for sure. I look forward to seeing what they come up with for next summer!
