I think Montreal will roster their starters but if the TiCats win on Friday (against Ottawa) then Hamilton clinches first place. If thats the case then I could see the Als backups getting more reps.

I believe thats only if a winner isn't determined in a 3 way tie. But because Calgart would be 3-2 and the Lions were 2-2 then Calgary would get 2nd.

Winnipeg has a 2-3 record against BC and Calgary. Lions are 2-2, so they have a higher winning percentage and would get 3rd in the West. Even if their record was the same in the games with the other tied clubs, the Lions also would have the next tie breaker which is points for and against in their games with Winnipeg and Calgary. Lions are plus 16 and Bombers are minus 16.

The Lions need to set their roster before the Stamps game. Sure they can make changes but the players they add to the roster need to come from the practice roster. Also if Calgary lose, BC still aren't guaranteed 2nd. If the Bombers win then there would be a 3 way tie and the Lions would be 3rd in the West The Lions play by play guy outlines the scenarios nicely:

Just think of the concerts as being a bonus. In 2022 Regina had 3 day passes for 104 bucks to get into the team parties. This didn't include any concerts.

The main issue is that the passes sold out early. Most of the backlash has come from out of town fans who say they were never advised that the passes were on sale to begin with. These are people that go to the Grey Cup every year so you'd think they would have looked into things ahead of time to secure tickets. They could have easily just checked ticketmaster to see the passes for sale. The other issue is people expected there to be single day passes as some fans will be getting in on Friday or Saturday. This concern was removed yesterday when day passes were made avaliable.
