Fuller? When he was with the Stamps he couldn't string together 3 games together without being injured. There's a lot of great receivers out there that we don't even know about that wouldn't be injury prone & come cheaper. Our scouting dept has to find them.

Hajrullahu should have owned up after that horrendous loss to Edmonton last season instead of ducking out of the stadium so he wouldn't face the media. Qbs who throw game losing ints (like Burris last night) or running backs who fumbles the game away or receivers that have the dropsies all have to talk to the media. Lirim didn't & admitted later that was a mistake. If a player owns up, takes responsibility & says the loss is on him, then fans will respond positively. He didn't do that & effectively that was it for him in Winnipeg. Dee's right. He had to leave. He's playing great in Toronto & good for him. Would he being playing that way here after last season? Debatable.

Same here. I don't annoint Nicholls the saviour but as of now he puts us in the best position to win.

To make things worse, they always assign Rod Black to do games like the Ben Cahoon retirement because that's all he'll talk about. Like Friday night, Not only did we hear how great a player Cahoon was before his retirement ceremony but how great a player during & after. It never stopped. Cahoon was a great receiver but he's not a Deity or Superman. So, by the time the game was over, it was enough to make viewers puke.

Hank threw that game away.

When Jim Barker was GM of the Stamps he'd do the same "grind". He'd do it all by himself. He didn't do all 32 team but he'd easily cover at least 25. He'd call into AM 770 CHQR & talk about each NFL team he saw that day & what he was looking for.

I don't care if Willy does well somewhere else. I just care about his time here. You don't hold onto a player with the HOPE he does better in the next year... if he goes somewhere else & does well, more power to him. But to keep him because you're worried he'll do better somewhere else? That's not how to manage personnel on a team.

That was quite a 5 game run... in July & August of 2014. Memories are made of this.
