Looks like the Cats may be without Fantuz & Gable.

It'll be interesting to see if the warm weather in the West translates into a drier & warmer fall. And if actual winter starts a few weeks later this year for the GC game as well. I have my fingers crossed.

If the Expos come back & they're not owned by Rogers I'll be happy to cheer for them. But to me, Rogers is doing everything they can to kill the Argos & the CFL so that company & by extension, the Blue Jays are dead to me.

Another loss & things will be in flux again. Isn't what's happening with the Riders remind you of what went on here in 2013? Just a total **** show. And back then, I remember fans here & everywhere else were pointing to the Riders as the model publicly owned franchise & how we needed to model the Bomber organization after them.

I regretted not going, sure. Just because I could have said I met Jonas & caught a pass he may have thrown to me. That's just an interesting story, though. But I've never regretted being a fan. Have never lost faith or been a bandwagon jumper.

Dressler is earning his salary returning punts & catches 7 or 8 passes a game. But Getzlaff & Bagg aren't worth the big bucks. They aren't dominating players & are aging. At least not anymore.

I heard Ray was throwing 45 yard bombs in practice a few weeks ago. I'm sure he was. I'd like to see how accurate he can be with a 300 lb monster coming full speed at him along with how his shoulder holds up after contact and weeks of throwing 1000 balls a week. I highly doubt QBs throw 1000 passes per week. You ever see a time where a QB goes 5 minutes at a football practice without throwing a ball? 3-4 practices a week plus game with warmups for all. Easily throwing 200 balls a day. Absolutely true.

In 1972, I was in grade 10. Don Jonas lived a block away from me. My friends & I heard he was at the Riverview Community Club working out one day in May of that year with a couple Bomber teammates. A bunch of my friends went down there to watch but I didn't go. Turns out he began throwing footballs to my buddies. I never stopped hearing about that until I went to university.

Especially the East Indian guy babbling something about ISIS... Just frigging annoying.

A near 3 month campaign isn't needed. It wastes taxpayer money. Yes, there has been 3rd party advertising but I've seen a lot more Trudeau attack ads from the Conservatives since April than any special interest group with a political agenda attacking the government on television & radio. Same friggin losers sitting around a table mocking Trudeau. Hey you Conservative assholes , I want to watch the football game & not your same attack ad over & over & over & over & over & over & over.. Now it'll just get worse. How is having to be forced to watch the same stupid commercial going to make me want to vote for Harper? Nah, I'm turned off enough to vote for Trudeau just out of spite. Don't like a 79 day election campaign announced on a Sunday of a long weekend. That just smells bad.

I want our number 2 to be a veteran but a veteran who can actually play when needed. Not a guy like Brohm who gives us little chance to win.

No matter how badly BLM plays the Stamps just won't play Tate. They have an experienced qb like that in the bullpen & he sits. One thing I can say about Tate that may have changed is his head space. I THINK... but don't know... but I get the sense that he's matured. If he came into a game he wouldn't be a crazy man anymore.
