Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania
You must mean 1997. That was the Canada/US feud between the Hart Foundation and Steve Austin. Yeah, you're right. It's still a long time ago. My friend from Winnipeg came to visit & take in the Stampede. Big wrestling fan. Good time.

excellent article.. Lawless... CFL needs to protect quarterbacks
Yeah agree but as long as fans are homers nothing will happen. Look at this place we have members calling Burris a whiner. Yet the same fans are all over the refs with Willy's injury saying it was a dirty hit so it all depends on one's perspective if qb hits are legit or not. So, how can anything be done? It's all talk & lip service.

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania
The last live event I went to was in 1991 or 92 when WWE came to Calgary during the Stampede. The Hart Family with their Canadian flag & put downs of Americans wrestled Shawn Micheals, Steve Austin & another guys that was tops with the Company at the time. The Harts were heels in the US but faces up here & guys like Austin & Michaels who normally were faces were the heels carrying the American flag. Saddledome sold out & the Harts won in a brawl at the end. Lots of fun. First time I ever saw the Undertaker with Paul Bearer.

Mike's playing to win so that'll mean another loss.

The Next Step to Excitement: Change the Safety Touch
Anyone see that Texas Tech-Oklahoma State game last Saturday? The score when I tuned in for a few minutes was something like 65-62 for Oklahoma State.

Next question ... since it seems to be a theme around here
The football season has been a disappointment. The Riders didn't go 0-18.

Get Paul Jones!
I agree but Miller won't fire Walters to hire Murphy. He may be the Riders new GM.

I remember an Eskimo player who was paralyzed in the 80's so great news!

Get Paul Jones!
Explain. Thought so.

Could our coaching staff be crazy enough to.....
I think his brother is an NCAA college coach so if he wants to do that he could probably get into coaching.

Could our coaching staff be crazy enough to.....
I bet MOS plays all his vets so he hopes he can finish 6-12 instead of 5-13.

Get Paul Jones!
No, you're the one being obtuse. Who fired Butchko? Who hired Miller?

Now that the Bombers are out, Go Stamps Go!- Get Paul Jones!
If you're suggesting that they would fire Miller because he didn't nail it on his first try at hiring a GM, you might be setting your goals just a bit too high. Keep in mind that the CEO does other things besides hire a GM, so it's possible that maybe he's meeting expectations on a lot of other things. I know that on a board like this it's real easy to yell "fire him" every time someone decides that there's a problem, but the people who are having to operate in the real world actually do things in a bit more rational fashion. Sorry to disappoint. Okay then, then who hires & fires Miller? Some mystic wizard from Harry Potter? And if you still are talking in riddles deliberately without making sense then no wonder the Bombers are one ****** up team.- Just A Question?
Absolutely why. The CFL doesn't have the money the other leagues do. It is still a fan driven, butts in the seats league so definitely the Commisioner has to be out there shaking hands & talking to everyone. Bettman & especially Goodell don't have to speak to anyone. Orridge should be at as many games as he can every weekend. Be on local radio & television talking it up all season long. He should be begging to do interviews.- Just A Question?
Some are saying that isn't a good thing. Guess we'll have to see.- Just A Question?
LOL! I'm being facetious here about the guy to get a discussion going. Some of the responses are interesting in his defense so I will say this. A big part of the job as CFL Commissioner is PR & to get out & meet fans & talk to the media toi try & build up interest in CFL cities as well as the national media. Orridge doesn't do any of that. Not even close.- Random News Items
Had a recurring role in different Law & Order series for years.- Now that our season is toast ...
That 2004 Stamps team was brutal... As bad as the Bombers are now. If you give Walters our GM now all kinds of chances to prove himself then you should give Higgins the benefit of the doubt as well during the time he was with the Stamps. He had very little to build with when he started.- Just A Question?
Well, Orridge doesn't hide the fact he does even less.- Get Paul Jones!
But what you're saying makes no sense. The Bombers CEO & BOD have final say. They hired, approved, whatever you want to say... Wade Miller & they can remove him.- Next question ... since it seems to be a theme around here
