  1. Neufeld was ass to start last season because he was hurt all camp. And how can Eli earn a spot when he never gets a chance there? See you're still clinging to this false idea that you have that guys are starting because they are the best option and no one has pushed past them. That's demonstatively flase with this team...
  2. When has Eli ever been put in at centre? And if he's awful why is he here? Kolankowski is a bottom teir starter on this team, should be a priority to replace rather than untouchable. As for neufeld, why threatened? Old, often injured or playing injured....
  3. I liked buck for the most part, just last year he seemed to get stupid, but that might also have been collaros problems.
  4. Guy had 1/3 of a season to prove what everyone else already knew, that he wasn't good enough, before he was demoted and released... let's not pretend it reflects on the coaches in some positive light here.
  5. Mostly through injury or departure though... kolankowski was purely an injury fill in and he had never once been in danger of being pulled out. Neufeld can be injured all training camp and never feel pressure to lose his spot...
  6. It makes too much sense!
  7. Osh ain't taking Thomas off the roster unless he was dead and even then it's 50/50
  8. I much prefer schoen to Lawler but that's me. Lawler can be amazing, but some games he wasn't amazing. We can debate schoen coming off the injury and whether he was ready or not but I'd have picked schoen over Lawler too.
  9. I'd go 3 American ol if the interior American was at C...
  10. Well the GM obviously envisioned a group of schoen, Mitchell, demski, clercius a d wheatfall/sterns... which is better.
  11. With schoen on the IR who is that receiver you turn to when you absolutely must have a play? Demski... but history has shown he is at his best when he's the #3 type guy. Wheatfall is too inconsistent, sterns is limited by his size. Clercius is still young and not the real dynamic make plays all over the field type anyway. So yeah, receivers are a big problem
  12. Yeah you see me defending collaros much?
  13. Outplaying Zach in a Grey cup sadly isn't all that high of a bar.
  14. Put him in bubble wrap cause trusting a guy that old to last a long season is a choice when his history isn’t one of the picture of durability
  15. It's more of a back handed compliment. He doesn't quit when he's in trouble, he keeps trying to make a play. Sometimes it blows up sometimes it works.
  16. Zach has played more bad Grey cup games than good ones. Guy was a decent qb in his prime, but that time is long gone.
  17. Too stupid to know when he's beaten.
  18. Yeah and I've said both qbs have to deal with a pile of **** around them... all I'm doing is pointing out the hypocrisy of some people who simply write off streveler as sucking meanwhile do all sorts of excuse making for collaros when he is throwing too many picks (2 more last night let's not forget), getting sacked when he holds the ball too long, having long periods of offensive ineptitude etc etc etc.
  19. Absolutely they were. Which is why I always push back on the idea that collaros did anything special in that run.
  20. Not revising anything, both guys got lots of playing tome6in 2019, and IMO we don't get past calgary if it's just Zach out there.
  21. Streveler 2-0... Zach below. 500... and did Zach actually take strevelers job in 2019? Streveler had the bum ankle and both guys split time in the playoffs run. Just funny how the guy making top dollar gets all kinds of excuses but the backup just sucks.
  22. They were also worried about crums legs
  23. So when it's collaros it's everything else, but when it's streveler he just sucks right?
  24. Here's another LOL moment from the game... Sterns made a heck of a grab on his touchdown catch and it was a perfectly placed ball as much as anything.... but why the **** is our endzone jump ball guy 5'8? Guy's been a good receiver for us, but man they're miscasting him as the guy you take those kinds of shots to the endzone with.
