  1. Schoen and Lawler have that knack for making catches to move the sticks, as does Wolitarsky... this team has weapons for their QB. Gonna wreck people's ****.
  2. I almost certainly was after he became the starter.
  3. No... I remember 180k being the number in like 2006 so even if he cracked the 200k mark khari had got the million dollar deal years before that, guys like Ray and calvillo at least were up in the 400s or more.
  4. Citation needed.... I know milt made bank but I kind of think you are under estimating what qbs made... or over estimating what Stegall made.
  5. Not sure going all in on Montreal is the winning strategy thru think it is. And really if not for the ownership crisis would these guys be leaving Montreal anyway?
  6. Well my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.
  7. Well go to sask for a huge payday and play in an unproven scheme catching passes from who? On a team that is likely to miss the playoffs again with coaches and gms on the hottest... Or take less catch passes from Zach collaros in a scheme you know you can succeed in on the odds on favourite to be in the Grey Cup again and cash some playoff money on top of the salary. I know what I would pick, but last season Lawler didn't Do that so who knows. Walters can figure it out
  8. Too much money in old guys!!!!!! Ignore the fact they won 15 games and played in the last 3 grey cups winning 2, the wheels are about to fall off! Jealousy is an ugly *****.
  9. I am just curious by which metrics that big brained poster thinks the Bombers are having a poor offseason... re-signed basically everyone that was a priority... no one can actually sign free agents yet, there hasn't been a draft... the only thing that can be judged is how you retain your own guys.... which walters has crushed.
  10. Oh yeah Trevor Harris is good enough to overcome a terrible OL. Sure. Orrrrrrr he starts making panic throws to no-one or the defense.
  11. That and the dump truck full of money.
  12. So Ragnarok was one of my favourites and it was jokey as all hell. The difference between that and love and thunder is that in ragnarok they established Hela as a villain whereas Gor the God Butcher did all of his god butchering offscreen.... Give him some screen time to really establish him as a threat and your movie is instantly a lot better even with all the jokes.
  13. The only consistent thing about the guy is that he is inconsistent.
  14. I enjoyed it too. I was concerned where they would go with it what with the star of the franchise dying and all that, but I felt they handled it really well and the whole idea of they tried to open up to the world and the world just wanted to steal their resources was a nice touch. Then you throw in a good performance by the protagonist and you got something there. Thor would have been helped out immensely if they'd leaned into Christian Bale a lot more heavily and given him more screen time.
  15. No matter what the final verdict it will be less than impressive for the Argos. Enjoy the win last season, it's back to obscurity this year.
  16. Davis isn't a dual threat qb though, he's a no threat qb. Doesn't wow with his legs, can't throw accurately with his arm.... He can't continue any gameplan because he has shown he just doesn't have the ability to play qb at this level. yeah except that Collaros was a pretty well known CFL commodity before he got that contract too. Risk with him was always durability not ability. Everyone knew he could play at an MOP level was just a matter of whether he could stay healthy.
  17. But he throws a really pretty looking ball!
  18. Lanier was good for the riders last year, that's not a hot take or anything, but to make a guy the highest paid after less than a full seasons worth of games seems to be jumping the gun IMO. But also highlights how messed up the situation is when they have to over pay guys to stay.
  19. It makes sense when you consider the premium they have to pay to get guys to willingly sign onto that tire fire.
  20. He was always there guy," he is only a couple seasons removed from an MOP type season, it was other aspects that let him down, and knowing how they have filled those holes he will no doubt be back to being one of the best qbs in the league "
  21. So I didn't want to be the guy to say that.... but you're not exactly wrong. I mean McCrae isn't at demskis level yet but it's the same type of guy just not as polished as a receiver
