  1. Wilson gotta make one guy miss. Not run up to him for a hug.
  2. Looks like maybe a helmet right on the lower left quadrant there. Below the ribs.
  3. Might want to give some reps to the other RB's. Oliviera looks like ****.
  4. Our blitzing is so useless. Are we telling our WIL LB to blitz off the strong side and just watch the QB?
  5. If they double Pickett there's a ton of space there. Streveler goes that way and hits the pile, Wakefield cleans up. If they clear Pickett he's clear into the secondary. Sometimes compound a small mistake with the mental one. Need Dobson to stay physical and move someone.
  6. Dobson seems like the culprit there to me. Stay on a block as opposed to chasing. If they stay on the backer rushing there Streveler just needs to step around Wakefield. Instead Dobson makes a pile by chasing Wakefield. I don't know. On a run play I don't teach OL to vacate like that unless it's a designed pull or trap.
  7. Wonder if Streveler had a check out of that. Don't usually want to run that when they show two blitzers between the tackles, so 6 coming total. Don't really care if extra off the edge.
  8. Too obvious...drop in a screen pass or two in the sequence of a drive like this.
  9. Wolitarsky sold that really well. Oliviera needs to run with power. Way too hesitant.
  10. Needs a lot more catches to get the catch/drop ratio respectable.
  11. I like that bunch with Demski jetting away from it. There was lots of space there if they show that some more and give it to Demski once or twice.
  12. A lot more space to run the ball. Oliviera has to hit that a bit harder. Gave up 2-3 yards there with hesitation.
  13. Pass rush is huge. If Dru gets to set up where he wants and stay on time he'll get in rhythm and probably throw for 350.
  14. It's 1000% harder to pass protect for a scrambling QB in the context of blocking on 5-7 step drops where the scheme is to have the QB deep behind centre and you blocking flows from that idea. Now, in terms of overall blocking....with a running QB or a QB D's view as a run threat it is way easier to run block. There's more space. When Collaros is in the D isn't even counting him as a potential runner. Going to be a 180 with Streveler. A ton of stuff both run and pass you can run off this. And we should because Streveler isn't going to do 5 and 7 step drops and fire accurate lasers all over the place for 4 quarters. It should be way harder for the D to defend an offense with Streveler out there if we've schemed properly. They should be in a bind all night.
  15. They are basically all must wins now. If you played .500 the rest of the way you'd finish 7-11.
  16. I'd like to see Mitchell at receiver before Lawler is back. See if they use him at all tonight. If everyone stays healthy with Lawler back you probably can drop both those guys. Josh Johnson sticks around, Clercius basically becomes Wolitarsky and Wolitarsky becomes Schoen. I can't believe Wilson is still dressing. Think sooner than later we go 3 American OL, as in, I would have made this change already.
