Don't question his speed running straight ahead. Question his speed in his kickstep to cut off an edge rush. -

Feel like we need to do more of a pistol/shotgun short-yardage package for Brown. Looks like he just learned how to take a snap under centre this week. -

Not sure how Calgary escaped the 25 yard penalty for rough play on that No Yards. Open season. -
It was the in the 4th quarter of the Grey Cup. Penalty made it 2nd and 18 then Harris busted off a 20 yard run with Bryant and Darvin Adams finishing off blocks right at the first down marker. Streveler was injured in his last start with a high ankle sprain which was a game in Calgary.

Can they teach the refs how to use their mics? Anticipating a lot of punting with the garbage quarterbacking.

IMO this is Jefferson's best season, not statistically but in terms of overall play. He's not a liability at all anymore. Teams would run at him like crazy in Sask and in 2019 and he struggled quite often. He's been all over it this year and I think he's really bought in since re-signing. Way less freelancing, realized he doesn't have to swing for the fence every down. I don't know. Hard to not have the best QB on the league on the MOP ballot regardless of what anyone on D did. There's a D award, MOP is basically best offensive player unless your O is really ass like Ottawa or Edmonton.

And in the era of shotgun, 5 receivers and 70+ percent passing, compared to a more balanced, under centre, multi backs, run heavy era Walby played in. The best tackle in this era is the best ever because the job has never been harder.

Two giant missed calls to end the game. First the missed horsecollar on Ross big catch that would have put the Elks goal to go. Second the PI on the INT.
-
How sickening is that? How is that tool working national broadcasts? Need a lot better TSN. Idiot on the field...only one?
-
Call affects Calgary more than Edmonton.
-
Can't Edmonton challenge?
-
The refs are awful at calling horsecollars. Ross injured from that one.

Sask's O is a clusterfuck. Feel like a lot of them hate Fajardo.

If I were an Elk or Lion fan I'd be really disappointed if there weren't significant changes in front office and coaching staff. Seeing very little positive progress anywhere and mind numbingly stupid game management (Campbell in BC particularly).

Riders win this game and the entire West division plays meaningless games next week.

His arm from the pocket looks better than 90% of the QB's I've watched in this league this season. We didn't have the OL to run much of that successfully especially when the LT went down. We were basically on our 5th and 6th string tackles (even though one of them is a starting guard), 4th string guard in there. I'm not sure he has the mobility to do much up here though. He needs to run quick game, almost like old style Kevin Glenn type of rhythm passing game, get it out fast from the pocket, load up a deep ball every once and awhile. There's not many QB's up here like that now and with the amount of zone D (DB's sitting on routes not really covering players) it's hard to run that.

Montreal wins a game by a TD and FG when they got 6 turnovers while playing for a home playoff game. Against a team managing their roster like a preseason game Who should be worried in the big picture?
-
Barker missing the OL issue. Lost the LT, had Tui Eli playing RT for 3 quarters! A guy who moves slow for a guard ffs.
-
Doubt it. Lots to learn for lots of players and team. Yeah pitch the outcome.
-
How many turd games did we play in 19?
-
What? Tackle a guy at the knees and get called for facemasking.
-
Als really tempting fate with their offensive stars and an angry D.
-
We've played most of this game with 5 OL who I'd wager have never even practiced together in these positions. Our starting OL has largely been the same for 2-3 seasons. Who's the vet backup sitting on someone's sideline you want? Most teams don't even have a starter.
-
Only took 58 minutes and 4 fumbles to get McKnight back there. Castillo better be practicing his onside kicks.

It's like Montreal hasn't updated their stadium music since 1999.
