Expansion Draft will soon be upon us, time to resurrect this thread. TSN has released an expansion draft simulator, unfortunately it does not seem to be as good as the one the Cap Friendly has. You can't even choose what players teams will protect. I also think they might have under estimated the demand for this thing as it seems to be hit and miss if you an get it to work, so I can't even try and figure out who they have the Jets protecting. Not impressed. The simulator is here: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/assemble-the-knights/draft-simulator A couple of TSN staffers have done their own mock drafts. Craig Button has us losing Armia: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/assemble-the-knights/button-s-picks Dan Seravelli has us losing Copp: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/assemble-the-knights/button-s-picks

Teams do have a maximum number of contracts they can have and a maximum number of players in the system. You can't always sign a player just to see what happens. If you don't think a player is going to contribute, you can't just waste a contract on him. Either that, or he didn't like what he saw ahead of him in the Jets organisation and decided to take his chances elsewhere.

Bob is 67. Have to wonder how many more years he has in him before he is off to a well deserved retirement.

I do have a question for you ... if you have such strong feelings about what we did and how we did it, why were you the 5th member (outside of moderators) to sign up for this site, and why have you actively supported it all these years by being in the top 35 posters by number of posts? As for your number 2, I could be wrong, but I don't think there is anyone from the moderator team who left OB that is complaining about what Colin did when we left.

Off season is over. Figured we could use a new thread to whats happening in training camp around the league. http://3downnation.com/2017/05/29/ticats-add-two-veteran-players-retired-list/ -

Wouldn't worry about it ... pretty sure his post is only meant to be a shot at deleted content in a far away thread.

This bug appears to be fixed. Chat should now always be "on".

Saw this article today and thought it was pertinent to this discussion. I'm not sure how much a police officer should get paid, but I do know the chances of me coming into contact with something like this that could potentially kill me is very much lower then that of a cop. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-police-naloxone-self-administer-1.4127711

Totally going by memory here, but at one point I think he stopped using Twitter and tried to get his fans to connect to him through his phone app (though I could be completely out to lunch on this as his Twitter account has recent activity) https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/1-to-1-fan-jacob-trouba/id904355703?mt=8 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Pixofactor.JacobTrouba&hl=en Free Press article on it if you can get passed the paywall http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/business/trouba-takes-on-own-app-277037201.html As to his father, I will take that part back. I thought I had read a rumour about that somewhere, but can't find the source. Also found an article where he was in the country when Trouba first signed.

Advertisers would love to get their hands on the type of viewership and demographic information Netflix has on their shows. Ironically, they don't sell commercials.
