Don’t show a decent replay or anything TSN. Awful production again.

If it stands, just run the damn ball

If they were in the game at all that drive could have been shout down. Sloppy, sloppy tackling before the refs got their fingers in the pie.

Did I just see Jake Thomas at ******* rush end?

CFL - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
I haven’t spent a lot of time out there recently, but when I was (mid 00’s) there was a clear pecking order of 1. Hockey 2. NFL and 3. CFL I was pretty young at the time (late teens/early 20s) but the general feel seemed to be “Calgary’s the best, Stamps are the best” when the team was winning and “F the Stamps, CFL is bush league” when they weren’t. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I can’t imagine the mentality has changed much for the under 40 crowd. It’s not going to be a quick fix for that ownership/management group, if they can even fix it at this point. It’s going to take new ownership and probably a new stadium to get that franchise back on track. The stamps are a subsidiary afterthought to an NHL club which is also ran on the cheap. I wouldn’t have any hope either if I lived there. It’s sad, I always kind of thought of the prairie teams as siblings of sorts. IMO the 4 clubs are the backbone of the league, hate to see the state of both Alberta teams (though Edmonton took a step forward this year)

I still think Holm would be a perennial all-star at safety.

Shitty thing is, Darvin’s best year was probably 2015 when we didn’t have a QB.

I’ll be honest with you guys, I still had zero faith in 2019 until the WSF. Finally winning IN Calgary made me realize it was something special. That long TD from Collaros to Adams, with Cuthberts call “Going deep for Adams….and he’s got him!” One of my favourite moments as a fan, still gives me chills to this day.

If they’re trying to run the quick stuff McCheese does now, I don’t think it’s going to work out for them. They’ll have to fundamentally re-design their offence, if in fact they’re going with Walker as the starter next year.

Sounds along the lines of when the Argos brought Cleo Lemon in, except Walker is even older. I can’t see the Stampeders being foolish enough to believe PJ Walker is the answer at QB. If they are, yikes. I’m serious when I say Calgary could be the next team to fold if their ownership and management can’t figure it out. No one’s going to games, and they’re not getting a new stadium anytime soon

Argos at Bombers Chat
Every time they get a new owner, the league bends over backwards to get them a championship the following year. Sign whoever you want, screw the SMS. Even so far back as the Flutie signing.. https://www.deseret.com/1996/5/11/19241644/argonauts-go-nuts-to-sign-mvp-flutie/ "From a league standpoint, there was some pressure," the Heisman Trophy winner said after signing the deal at Boston's posh Top of the Hub restaurant. "Everybody kind of pointed their finger that way and made it as easy as possible for me to go to Toronto." Also, If they hadn’t have left skydome, we’d still be forced to watch a shitty atmosphere Grey Cup game there every other year.

Argos at Bombers Chat
I can’t stand the Argos. Just all the bullshit they’ve pulled as an organization over the years, I don’t even know where to start. This version in particular. I don’t know if it’s those shitty baby blue 1980s underwear uniforms, Dinwiddies sour puss and his XXL zippered polo from Giant Tiger, or their QB being the least likeable CFL player in years… I haven’t wanted to see the Bombers dominate a regular season game this much in a long time. Pinball sounds like Whoppi Goldberg when he talks.

Lose every game 28-20 That all seems pretty realistic. I’d like to see Bombers pick up Powell too but I doubt it unless Zach retires. Until then I think it’s ZC/TD Terry/Whoever wins the 3rd QB job next camp out of Grainger and rookies. VAJ to Edmonton or Calgary both make sense, I’d be pretty surprised if he wasn’t in Alberta for 2025. Think the riders keep Harris (unless he retires) and sign Tre Ford. VAJ to Calgary or Edmonton, other one gets a Powell/MBT combo. McCheese to the riders if Harris retires and to backup in BC if he doesn’t. All based off nothing of course, just wild guesses.- Argos at Bombers Chat
Don’t know much about him other than he bounced around between the PR and AR. Sounds like he just fell through the cracks in Montreal with a pretty deep LB corps. 6”3 225, pretty big dude. Knows the league, worth a look at the very least. Good signing.- CFL - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

Harris or McCheese is kind of like choosing between a kick in the ass or a kick in the junk. - CFL - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
