Of course it'll change it. CTV is a regular tv network & TSN is cable. TSN has 5 channels. Sometines CFL games are on the other channels like TSN 3 or 4. Not on the main channel they subscribe to.

Could the chipped balls have had anything to do with the overthrows Zach had in the end zone? We'll never know.

O'Shea's also been here 11 seasons & the words & actions may be falling on deaf ears. He'd be at about the end of his shelf life as a Head Coach here, I'd think.

Some guys should be told it's time to move on but Jake is a coach's favourite. Is starting 10 a failure to recruit or a tribute to the depth to the Canadians we have? I'm thinking it's the latter. To me, that's a huge concern. When MOS thinks the Canadian backups are better than the Americans they have brought in that's a scary thought. Gauthier is a prime example. Our HC will go over Niagra Falls believing he's better by playing him over any American while Biggie is out.

Roster management is terrible. Starting ten Canadians was ludicrous. Is there some kind of participation award for being big heroes??? Oh yeah, we get a supplementary draft pick. Big deal.

One game.... I saw a lot of other players look lost & disinterested out there offensively. Oliveira, Demski & Schoen at times. Give these guys another week of prepping to get the bugs out. Maybe we should point fingers at the Head Coach for the way he got his team ready to play this game.

Yeah, there was no sadness about our loss. Both Smith & Suitor were jumping out of the booth taking delight in showing that last GC drive over & over & over. And the Philpott performance. A new superstar is born.... spit.

I thought our corners played pretty darned well. They have talent. They just lack experience.

The Bomberss looked slow toninght. they couldn't match the overall team speed of the Als. Funny how a great returner can make even an average team great. Mitchell was no threat at all. We gave up Janarion Grant for him???? I thought the Bomber DL played alright. They did pressure fajardo & sacked him 3 times. Our secondary especially the corners were impressive. Ford & Bonds acquitted themselves well. They can only get better. As far as Zach goes, this is what happens when you don't play your starting qb the entire pre season. He looked rusty & the timing was off. Our high priced receivers looked disinterested at times & just seemed to be going through the motions. TSN sure loved the fact the Bombers struggled. Replayed that final GC drive over & over. Even Sean Lemon which really pissed me off. They praised everyone on Montreal constantly. Karma is a ***** Stubblefield.

I haven't listened to the Coach's Show in years as I no longer live in Winnipeg but when Bob Irving did The Football Hotline with Jack Matheson. Jack would pull no punches with the problems the team was having. After a loss & the fandom bitching about lost opportunities to score on the field or the secondary being lit up... even questioning coaches calls, they'd get (usually a random middle aged woman) call in & say, "Don't be so hard on the boys. They tried their best so Jack you stop talking badly about them, now. They're our Bombers & we love them!!" I couldn't stand those calls as Irving would just let them rant for a minute then politely say goodnight...

This is the thing about the CBA that shows me what kind of a disservice the CFLPA does for their members. They'll insist these ridiculous appeal clauses be part of the agreement yet they can't ever get more than (on average) a hundred grand increase per year in the salary cap. They think they do such a great job when the owners just say nope & the players back off. Yet, claim victory for dumbass things like this. Is it any wonder the cap barely keeps up with the coat of living? The owners will give them appeals on just about anything in the CBA but when it comes to meat & potato issues like money, they fail badly.
