  1. Pretty simple solution is to let it go. Robertson is dead. It happened 38 years ago.
  2. Don't be a ****. Let it go. The man is dead.
  3. Release him & send Collins our way.
  4. You realize Robertson died 4 years ago. Let it go.
  5. Lesnar should squash Joe but we know that won't happen.
  6. Are they killing Bailey? Watched that match with Bliss & went WTH? Maybe TUP can tell me but is it true Vince isn't really sold on her as a wrestler?
  7. I would still say that a career politician, one that went from post secondary right into a provincial or federal career is out of touch. Yes, the staffers work hard. I'm not talking about them as they generally are people that come from the private sector with a marketing or journalism background & it can be a real grind. They work long hours & it can be selfless. Especially when they have to put a positive spin on a negative situation or the long hours of an election campaign. It's the politicians like the Ashtons I'm referring to with all the entitlements & perks that come from being a politician.
  8. Four in a hundred years. Clap. Clap. Clap. Clap. There, one clap for each victory.
  9. A real job is also hard. Someone who's been cocooned by government privilege their entire working life has no idea what's it like for a lot of Canadians who struggle. It's all about political theory not actual reality.
  10. What does that have to do with the Riders? I'm well aware of our problems.
  11. Meanwhile there's Tom Mulcair who thinks Karla Homolka should be forgiven as he thinks she has paid her debt to society.
  12. I'd say one season is the immediate future but four is long term.
  13. Seeing the Riders now & all they've suffered since 2013 it isn't worth it. But as I said, I love it as it couldn't have happened to a more asshat fanbase.
  14. One championship season followed by 4 brutal ones? Nope. The Riders bought a Grey Cup. Good for them. Now I hope they have lots of buyers remorse.
  15. Was it worth it 4 seasons later? That's debatable seeing the state of the Riders since. Lovin' it btw.
  16. For $220 I wouldn't get any players name unless I know they'll stick. Hence, the legends.
  17. Just like her father, a career politician. Steve Ashton was UMSU President when I attended the U of M. The NDP was a Godsend for the guy. I don't think he's had a regular job his entire life.
  18. Seems like there should be some family bannings.
  19. I don't know how we can seemlngly take the Esks so lightly. They're a dangerous team & I think will be tough again.
  20. I always go with legends as they can't be released or traded. My next jersey will either be #54 Phil Minnick or #64 Bill Frank. For those of you who never heard of them look these guys up.
  21. When I was in my 20's I had a group of friends who liked nothing better than to go out & drink their faces off on weekends. Great guys but they couldn't control their liquor. When I did hang with them I made sure I had my own car so I could duck out whenever I wanted to. One time, they asked me if I wanted to go to Minneapolis with them for a long weekend. One of them told me about their last trip to the Twin Cities where one of the guys passed out in the hotel elevator & was lying down inside going up & down, up & down. I figured I could get **** faced easier at home, save a lot of money & at least have a hangover the next morning in my own bed rather than in my hotel room just to do it all over again the next night as well as the day after. I politely said no. I figured these guys went to Minneapolis a half dozen times & probably didn't see much of it either. By the way, that guy from Winnipeg who passed out in that Minneapolis hotel elevator went on to have a hugely successful chiropractic practice in Atlanta.
  22. We don't know what we have in Davis.
  23. I don't like the imposed sanctions by the UN which is what the Paris Accord is. However, all countries except 2 signed on & said they'll meet these targets yet we know they won't. But at least they're trying. Thing is, for the US to pullout will take over 3 years so why bother? Trump did this because he thinks he can. So does Steve Bannon. To show off to Trump's base. I don't think the assclowns in the White House even know the full text of the Paris accord as it'll take until 2020 for the Americans to actually leave. Until then, the US is bound by the terms of the agreement thus turning it into a contentious election issue in 3.5 years. For Trump or his GOP successor if he actually does run again. Just absolutely moronic.
