A Rider fan or someone associated with the Riders harassing RedBlacks coaches & players on the sidelines. Why am I not surprised?

This was the point I was trying to make with Corey mace's comments that the loss to the Elks "was on him". Nothing happens. It's all words. Does anyone think the CFL will punishb anyone from the CC? It'll never happen. It's great to say that you're accountable when you're not.

I think Sheahan is here the rest of the season. He's Castillo's holder & do you mess with that chemistry the way the guy has been kicking this year? -

You're talking Sheahan, the punter, right? -

Basically, we have a 32 year old journeyman Center who's not playing particularily well & never has. There's no reason to keep playing him as a starter over Eli who is younger & can't develop because O'Shea won't give him playing time that he needs. Knowing O'Shea, no matter how good Randolph plays, he'll still put Neufeld back in. How is that good roster management? -

Better isn't saying much when the bar is set so low at Center. -

And an undersized Kola who blows his blocking assignments & gets blown back 10 yards into Zach's face on a bull rush is any better? At least Eli is younger & can only improve with a higher upside if he plays. Kola is 32 years old & his potential has reached his ceiling. He'll never get any better than he is now. Eli needs more playing time but doesn't get it. -

Mike O'Shea takes out Jeff Garcia on the sidelines. He played with the same attitude as Adam Bighill with his hit on Shea Patterson. He was tossed out for that play which he never should have been. Move the bench further back. -

Looked at his game cheque after taxes & was in shock. -
All the time. It may not be glowing in their descriptions & may only be a sentence or two but they do it all the time.

That's politics with our Head Coach. Kola is "his guy". Eli is the guy on the outside looking in. -
My point is when coaches say it's on them, it really means nothing. Just say they played badly & will be better prepared next game without throwing personal responsibility into the mix. At the pro level there's already an expectation of practicing & preparing at a high level. So, just how can he bring up the level of preparation even higher? Is he admitting that he didn't take the Elks seriously enough? That's a slap to Mace as a HC & his staff. There just isn't truly taking responsibility. They only pay with their jobs if losing is a weekly occurence. Coaches do give their opponents credit all the time. It may be just a one or 2 sentence credit & said very quickly but they do after a loss.

I guess the best explanation would be that yeah, Demski's making a lot of money & is probably overpaid but at least he's playing & they're not. Lawler has missed more games than he's played the past two seasons. The first slate of games was his fault with his DUI. The second slate are because of injuries & aren't really his fault but he still isn't on the field. That's a lot of money for a guy who has played ten out of the last 27 games... Or something like that. Schoen just takes a beating every7 game when he plays. He seems to get more beat up than a lot of wideouts which makes me question his long term durability as he gets older into his 30's. Should we be concerned about his health?? -
I'll be in Seattle this weekend & check it out for myself. If I'm wrong, I'll find out. And it's Scarf Boy. Not Scarf Man.

I'm just worried that O'Shea will put him back on.

When my son plugs in his laptop to watch football on his 70 inch smart tv he gets a message saying the game is not available in his area. How in God's name is that growing the game??? CFL fans in the US can't watch the games. My son is so disgusted with CBS Sports that he's losing interest in the CFL. The second year in a row he can't watch games. He can watch all kinds of college & NFL games. We're losing out in America & it's the CFL's fault.

Absolutely agree. I can't believe that the league has no choices on how to grow & prosper. The problem is the people leading the league. Not the game. We're a niche league with 3 downs. Globally, 4 down football is what other countries play. So, the league needs to take the game to the world. Find a way.

Wheatfall looked like a good receiver with potential. If any of these younger guys can step up & make an impact then we may be able to free up some money & pick up some assets by trading a veteran receiver. We have too much $$$ tied up in Lawler & Schoen. Injuries suck but I'm hoping Walters can look at the roster & free up some cash. There's a lot of money tied up in 2 players on the 6 game IL. -

He is a third string qb only. Short yardage only. -
Mace has played & coached in the league for over 15 years. He's a rookie head coach in name only. Saying "it's on him" for the loss is a cop out. So what if it's on him? There's no accountability. He isn't in danger of being fired so it's all word salad. He gave no credit to the Elks for playing well.

Corey Mace's comments after their loss to the Elks saying that they weren't prepared to play & that he'll take responsibility for that. How??? Will he resign? Will he fine himself?? His job is to get them ready. So, Mace's words ring hollow.

Both coaches have backups but don't play them. It's just crazy. Argos will be a lot better (unfortunately) when Chad Kelly is back. Dukes can't or won't throw deep. Maier as well doesn't ever stretch the field. Checkdown, checkdown, checkdown. Just boring football to watch. Only bright spot of the broadcast is having LaPo do the analysis. He's already better than Glen Suitor who has done it for 30 years.

Nobody really knew when Bower was born. It was crazy.
