Tough to watch Harris break the record & at times drag tacklers with him refusing to go down. Then watch our guy Oliveira go down on first contact & a 2 yard gain. if he was still with us, we'd be a lock for another GC. Things will get a lot more difficult with our lack of a run game in November.

Well, if you tested negative then what are you waiting for? I was in Winnipeg on June 14th for a family memorial. My wife's cousin died . My wife & i got our fourth booster June 14th. They weren't offering 4th boosters in AB at the time. As of a week ago they are.

In the 60's there was a sci fi show called The Invaders where a man named David Vincent witnessed a flying saucer land in the middle of nowhere. The aliens were here as an invasion force to conquer the human race & take over our world. They were genetically altered to look like us so they could blend in. Vincent tried to tell people about the invasion but no one believed him. I think those aliens were football fans in the stands watching this game that night

I didn't think Dolegala sucked, Considering the little practice & prep time he had I thought he played pretty well. Toronto is some kind of screwed up team. They had problems defensively covering those inexperienced receivers for the Riders. Dinwiddie with only a couple of minutes left in the first half tries a 61 yard FG with the most inconsistent kicker in the CFL. Why??? Pin the Riders deep with the time left. Don't give them an opportunity to score. But. that's what Dinwiddie did. As I said earlier, I thought Dolegala played well. But let's face it, these tall & lanky qbs even if they can run to avoid a sack aren't the future of the CFL at qb anymore. Guys with skill sets like Collaros, Rourke, Massoli, Maier are the future of the CFL. When I say Collaros, I know that age wise he only has a few years left. However, I completely refer to his skill set & intelligence. More & more young qbs will be coming up the college ranks in the years to come that will have those skill set. The stand in the pocket passers will go the way of the Dinosaurs. Because defensive players are faster than ever qbs have to be able to adapt. They'll have to be able to throw with accuracy from anywhere on the field while on the run or under pressure. They won't have time to stop, set their feet & throw like Taylor Cornelius, Bo Levi Mitchell or MBT have to.

Congrats to Harris. Guess he can still play, huh???

We'll never know. All I know is Oliveira looks slow hitting the hole. He's a straight ahead runner & more often than not goes down on the first hit. To me, he is a downgrade from even a 34 year old Harris. Brit Dort.

Our run game is our Achilles Heel. If we don't pick it up, come playoff time it'll be our downfall.

LaPo will never be a HC again. His record is abysmal. Like I said earlier, it has nothing to do with injured qbs. It's the lousy way he calls games. And he's so conservative. So conservative that Margaret Thatcher would have more imagination with her playcalling than LaPo. He never plays to win but not to lose.

Apparently, 1960 was the best of the Bomber teams from 1958-62 but the Eskimos had one last kick of the can left in them & they upset Winnipeg in the Western Final series that year. Had we beaten Edmonton, we'd probably have won 5 GC's in a row.

Read #2... Media & fans ask the same questions we used to. The conservative play calling by LaPo. Not being aggressive. Kicking 2 FG's when they could have got first downs. Yes, LaPo lost Masoli but to me it's obvious that even with the veteran qb they'd be 0-6 or 1-5. As we found out here, LaPo is an overrated OC & is drowning as a HC in Ottawa. Should the RedBlacks GM throw him a lifeline or let him sink to the bottom? It won't get any better with LaPo in charge. LaPo will be fired eventually. It's inevitable. Rourke next year...

He's another deep ball thrower like Reilly was. He's impatient. He's a rookie. He doesn't put together 10 or 12 play drives like ZC or BLM does. As the season goes on, it's not like defenses will figure him out but figure out the deep passing schemes the Lions use.

You can't feel sorry for a guy like that. He gets paid to win. I've een nothing from Evans to think he's the long term starter for the Ti Cats.
