I don’t agree. I was sitting at the 30 yard line on the west side and had a perfect view of the play. There was absolutely time for Zach to get the ball out on a timing throw to the corner. He just did not look there. Not even a glance. That said, I am NOT disagreeing that the loss of the two offensive alignment lineman was a big deal and resulted in Z not having adequate time too often. But that was not the case on the play that I am referring to. And that has been a pattern with him too often this year. finally, let me add, Z was absolute 💰 on the final drive when he had to be. That was ZC at his very best and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. We just need to see more of awesome Zach instead of very mediocre, inconsistent Zach. the 6 touchdowns to 12 pics ratio, for example, has just got to improve. We are 11 games into the season and still struggling mightily to score touchdowns. We will not go anywhere if we we can’t get that part of the game turned around.

On the first pic Zach threw (where he “threw” to Brady), Lawler was 1-on-1 and ran a corner in end zone, wide open…but Z was locked in on Brady. Being at the game allows you to watch the play develop and my son and I both noticed this was constant with Zach: guys wide open but Z having tunnel vision locked in on a guy who’s covered, often in double coverage.

And what are those? Yeah, unfortunately I reluctantly have to agree with you there. Absolutely clutch on final drive. But also dropping stuff he caught routinely in previous years.

Hey, you’re probably right ‘bout that, at least with some. Tho I really try to avoid that sorta bs. On the other hand, at least Blue fan arrogance comes with a team that’s made 4 straight cup appearances. Doesn’t excuse it, but at least not as inexplicably insane, imo.

The riders are full marks for their record, you are what your record says u are, as Milt likes to say. That means the riders are better than the bombers (to date). And much improved. Whereas the Blue have taken a step back. That said, the Bombers seem to be improving. If the trend continues and they get Lawler and a few other pieces back…well, don’t look up now but that may be the drone of planes bearing down on Riderville and the air raid sirens are certainly going off over there! Or maybe not. Too early to tell. We absolutely agree there! My point was simply about the attitudes of a good number of your brethren on RF. Yeah, enjoy your success, but maintain some basic humility, eh? And just what’s with all the toxic hatred of MOS? Juvenile, and really smacks of bitter sour grapes. Just coz he has presided over your demolition for 4 yrs running?! I mean, u can hate him cuz he’s good, but calling him a POS every week? Grow the f up.

Agree with this 100%. Still, pretty funny to watch the tone on the Rider board utterly transform from absolute braggadocio and arrogance to “the sky is falling” and “remove all sharp objects” in less than 48 hours! 🤣 it’s their fans certainty of the Riders VAST superiority over their prairie rivals about a third of the way thru the season (AFTER getting their asses ROYALLY handed to them by the Blue for 4 straight years) that’s esp amusing.

Yeah. Just listened to the Ambrosie clip. I agree that his way of thinking about the purpose of the command centre is absolutely absurd. He’s saying that if you have to look at it in a slow motion to detect an error then it shouldn’t be called an error… what would be the point of a command centre if you cannot slow it down to find things that are missed calls? Esp calls that change the outcome of the game. I understand why the standard is “irrefutable“ (and “clear and obvious“ also works), but the idea that you shouldn’t be able to slow it down to get to that conclusion defeats the entire purpose of video replay! The way he is thinking about it leads to what just happened in this game. And it’s only possible impact will be to make people furious.

You know, not so much an excuse as it is an empty refrain. I mean, in a sense they’re right… If they stop fumbling the ball they win these games. It’s just it rings very hollow when it keeps happening over and over and over again. Demski in particular is mind blowing. I mean, just what would it take to convince you to thoroughly tuck the ball under your arm or even in both arms? How many times would you need to fumble in these dramatic ways before considering a change in your approach? Nic, we don’t need another three ******* yards, we need you to hang onto the ball!
