Dano was just taking up space. Lemieux and Vesa both need time to develop and that means playing. Petan still has value. I don't love giving away assets for nothing but, jeez, what would you expect to get for Dano? I'm not even sure Dano is better than anyone on this team.

Walters took a big chance selecting him in the first round. But, knowing that he had Canadian talent already on the line, he took it. Job well done there. Now it's up to Gray to earn a starting spot.

He's not going to make an impact this year but going forward, this will be huge. We have a lot of Canadian talent on offense.

We must be. I also have a family tree that traces back quite a ways in Scotland. My fam, 6 generations ago traces back to Edinburgh and then back from there through the Norman lines. Given the proliferation of the Norman bloodlines across the UK, I would guess that any family reunion would require a migratory move the likes the world has never seen.

I don't know who's calling it but it's a perfect one for Rod Black.
