august 30 is the first cut day, down to 75 players. September 3rd is 2nd cut down day to 53. The 4th is the waiver dead line and day they form PRs.

Mulumba had 2 solo tackles in the chiefs first game of the pre season. Hes listed 3rd out of 4 LOLBs, the 4th guy is a 6th round draft pick this year, a developmental guy who needs to add weight for the nfl. The prospect nicolas had 3 solo tackles and a sack. They have 2 rookies and a bunch of vets at LB in camp. The jets didnt seem to go far down the depth chart on there DL. They have 3 other 3-4 DEs that are rookie FAs to go with bilukidi none of whom seemed to get any play time. Hes listed last on one end spot while 2 others are listed in the same depth level on the other end.

If that play was a snap to draw he would have been pointing and hollaring at the ref to blow the whistle. he continued on as normal and didnt go to the ref after the whistle. With his struggle to pick up and switch on in side rushes i kind of doubt he has that level of awareness yet. Plus you dont do that on a back field motion play because the ref/command center can allways not call it and a turn over isnt worth an off sides penalty.

i wouldnt say it was exactly underwhelming, it over rich with raw talent mostly on defense. Those guys take a few years to get going in the cfl but a bunch of those guys went to the nfl too. But it certainly wasnt as good as more recent drafts.

Yeah they did. Foketi looked really solid in his first regular season game action too. When i rewatched those 3 deep passes had me holding my breath. Ricky ray and or the argos top wrs prolly hook up on atleast 2 of those deep passes. Yeah cjob was really shocked we were going for that, tsn guys didnt even notice >.> That was a long yard and a half on our 25ish yard line. And the game was still close. Big time gutsy call by mos.

have to be cautiously optimistic. Weve been playing banged up against banged up squads. When/if teams are healthier things could change. It could be for the better or worse. We certainly cant keep up the turn overs like we have. But we could be a ball hawking group.

As far as I know theres no one of note available atm. Id expect he has till nfl cut down time, or if some team decides to cut a productive vet wr. We have a gifted group of young guys at wr filling in for banged up vets. And mos is loyal to his guys. If he looks good in practice or some one gets hurt again or is slow to recover he will get another look i have little doubt.

mmm possible again but i doubt it. Weve seen some awful incidents with american athletes who are allowed to continue playing here when an regular person would have had the work visa removed. The way things are going for him he's going into the mike kelly zone any way.

every pro has potential. Ability to full fill it is what distinguishes the gavin walls from the adrian hubbards.

In theory yes. Athletes on work visa tend to get an awful lot of lee way though. Taxes also dont have the be paid till the end of the year, as long as the gov't gets its money at some point theyll be appeased.

The best blockers arent allways the biggest. K9, milt, robert gordon up here. Heinz ward down in the us etc.

Of course its best for the blue to have one team in the division dead and burried, especially if its the riders. That said for the league parity would be much better. Id love to see a season end with a final regular season week where every team can make the play offs. Id also love to see us sweep the riders and have it not be a hollow victory. Mostly i hope for entertaining games that the refs dont ruin.

Adams has shown similar flashes to mayo. Idk if its wanting the ball or what with adams. Jace davis on the other hand was catching every thing with willy and has hardly gotten any looks with nichols. He had one bad drop last night, but hes had more blocks then the rest of our wr core. He does more of the subtle pro things at wr then any of the unproven guys + adams.

Bob irving mentioned in the post game show that dressler was considered close and smith was not. Not sure if its true or not. We keep our lips tight on injuries.

with an OL that gave up 0 sacks and 3 or less hurries. And denmark busting almost 200 yards. We cant know for sure how nichols would have done in that game or willy in this one. But the difference between them is not kerwin bell / khari jones. Or ricky ray / jason maas even. Willy has the potential to be the guy that wins the game. Nichols doesnt. (consistently) Willy may be too damaged to make it work here now though. Cant tell with out seeing willy in again, and if we do that and it fails we are in a horrible spot.

Thats the truth, he bounced back un phased. If any thing he played much better after that pick. Thats some thing willy has never shown. There a lot of things you can attribute that to but never know which one it is. Mental toughness? Confidence? Leader ship? What ever it is he has it, and willy doesnt. Its kind of like a buck pierce trait. Though I think nichols is a better passer then buck was.
