Yeah guys like that are a real gamble, taking that risk in the 3rd isnt a poor choice at all on its own face value. How ever when your organization doesnt sign league veterans opting to bring in new talent from the states, and you allready have poor quality NIs/depth, its not a smart gamble. I think taking risks on guys like him is great, when you can afford it. Not to mention most of our drafts in that era didnt go well. So for today having those futures and a chance is better then who we would have picked in all probability. They move the draft back to prevent stuff like that from happening then we go and do it any way xD

Last two weeks hasnt been this team playing at par with its talent level. Harris, jace davis, our Dline, etc. Its better, certainly. But still not on par with the talent.
-
Perhaps a better way to put it would be I dont think at any point under mos including now has the team played as the sum of its parts. Some individuals will perform no matter who coaches them or if no one does. Some will perform better with a coach like mos, some with a strict coach etc. A good coach gets a team to play as the sum of its part and a great coach has a team playing as more then the sum of its parts. The talent we have at wr and rb, and ol, the DL talent, etc. My point is however, it doesnt matter what excuses or reasons come up. The only out, is making the play offs. Short of a big run in the play offs, it buys him into early next season.

Around The League Regular Season Discussion
wbbfan replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It used to happen a lot. Teams would pay guys to stick around off roster, or pay PR guys extra money to stick around, (pr money used to be ridiculously small) now guys get hidden on IR. On and off the 6 game every couple weeks the way teams game the roster has changed. The problem is the riders havent been doing it the new way. -

Yeah. He will prolly get back on the roster (if his deal is reasonable enough) to play teams and some situational packages thats it. -

actually we carried 2 back up ol early in the year. We got down to no healthy back up ol and had to have jake change numbers, Which means we have no back up DT. Carrying soo many Lbers and soo few linemen will haunt eventually. Not to mention if tackles go down we have to put jake in side and move a guard out side thats an even bigger risk. -
Yep. We're an inexperienced team though, especially in the ways of winning. Weve played up to edmonton and hammy I hope we dont try to play down to TO. And i hope we blitz the pants off of kilgore.
-
Pretty much. Both are like holding a lotto ticket. A lotto ticket we paid dearly for sadly. Im a fan of bilukidi, his push up the gut is insane. As with any guy from the cfl, or canada in the nfl i hope they do well. But would rather see them play up here then sit on a bench / pr down there.

Yep, there is some funny business about the rights to hulk movie distribution. Disney could make it, but would have to give 100% dist to the previous owners which they ofc wont do. So hulk has to hang around in the middle ground for a while. I imagine the illuminati portion is going to be ret conned severely or taken out entirely. Im pretty jacked for this movie. The cgi doesnt bother me, though hulk having a high dollar stand alone would be nice. So oceans 11 is getting a remake. And re rolled into an all female cast similar to ghost busters. How is it that white washing roles is a terrible tragedy, but gender swapping (and pooping on men as in ghostbusters) is ok? Star wars does trailers right. They dont tell too much, just enough to tease you. Another movie i just cant wait for.

xD ive been on the road listening to OB for atleast part of each games supposed run time keep the streak alive! Never watched a cfl game in TO. Jays game was great though.
-
think we have to rotate people starting that one, like the will a blow out loss this week cost mos his job? has any one started that one this week?
-
Mulumba is better then fringe. Hes solid. There were fans and media upset GB didnt bring him back. Bilukidi is very fringe. But i dont expect either to be in the first wave of cuts.

Dont agree with that. Its easily his best team, but this team should be better then its record. Mos has been underwhelming and not gotten the most out of any one. Not to mention MB at OC then going to plop. Both sides play too conservative. If he makes the play offs, he goes into next year as our HC. If not hes done. Same situation it was going into the season.

was hoping we'd see more healthy bodies coming into the line up. Cant see foketi making our OL worse. Hope he shows some thing. And hope we get healthy in a hurry. -
"Easily controlled at the point of attack by a single blocker. Marginal pass rushing skills " westerman had 26 sacks and 45 tackles for a loss before coming here. he was a natural pass rusher and had been developing as one since he started college. Pass rushing is technique and skill more then size and athleticism. One need look no further then Hubbard for that.

http://www.draftinsider.net/reports/2013/ILB/Andy-Mulumba "Expected to transition to linebacker at the next level. Fluid moving about the field, easily gets outside the numbers to chase the action, and shows ability in pursuit." " Easily controlled at the point of attack by a single blocker. Marginal pass rushing skills." 1 sack in 22 nfl games, 4.5 in 2 years of college. thats 5.5 sacks in 46 games. Has any one watched him play in college or in the nfl? He went to the nfl as a very raw guy with great natural ability. His skill set is similar to henoc muamba but better. Hes big for a mlb, but he easily has the quickness for it.
-
He played both ends and both OLB spots, moved spots but played a rover position for the most part. He was not by any means a typical DE. Hes not though, he has the raw tools of a pass rusher but that hasnt been his game in college or in the nfl. Most DEs up here and college DEs that were too small to play the position in the NFL. not olbs. Olbs are not the main pass rushers unless the team plays a 4-3 over or an agressive pass rush 3-4. In the ladder case teams in the nfl tend to have a package LB thats used like lawerence taylor. Lining up from many positions and pass rushing, delay blitz, spy etc.
-
if thats the case we should all cut off the bolt from our old gear and sacrifice it before LD/banjo bowl.
-
He is big and he does roll at 260. Physically he's well suited to DE. but his tool set and what hes shown at LB though is imense. Hes not a natural pass rusher, and hasnt been developing that skill down south as much as if he was playing end. Lber to end is far from the hardest transition in football. But he has mostly been the olb in a 3-4. Not lining up over blockers much, ranging to make tackles, covering some TEs, etc. He has the up side of a better version of henoc muamba / soloman eleminian at mlb or even playing in a similar roll to bass. Hes the scrape to the ball, funnel the line to him kinda guy. Either way would be a great problem to have. But I think he's too useful down there to end up here any time soon.

Imop aside from the digital camo those were the worst of our uni's all time. But i did like the streaking W logo.
-
most likely, but mulumba has show a lot as a LBer and easily has the speed to play mlb in the cfl. Its a much better fit for his skill set.
