Id still take bc/edms wrs over the riders. Those 3 are the elite groups of wr though imo.

Iirc demski was just a slight hammy strain i think he will be ok. They better keep him healthy for us for next year.

He did miss a chunk and the raps never really got back to their rhythm. Jonas is where i suspect it will come from. I imagine they move him for some one that fits with lowry n dd better. Too bad id love to see lowy and jonas work the offense inside out like the raps used to.

The way regions name refs and judges is sickening. Mazz and yama need to be banished from any pro refing. Hendricks is such a joke. That guy needs his walking papers.

9.5 games back is a crazy large hole to try and dig out of. Both bo bichette and vlady jr named to the minor league all star game. I imagine at some point after that we finally see them promoted a level. Here is hoping we dont try to rush things an do another marlins/mets deal.

lowry is there no1. DD has evolved into a stellar player no doubt. But lowrys on the ball D, offensive set up and offensive diversity is what makes the team go. The raps going a year with out DD can make the play offs the raps with out lowry dont. Its a lot of money, but they had to do it. I dont see them being able to add to the core with out a heavy re tooling. But if u re tool lowry is who you build around. Didnt they have a deal in place to fix that a couple years back? pretty much. Im not a fan the direction the league has taken but you cant stop it.

Denmark is still a darn good wr as well. His catch was pretty tough as well. Jfg bobbled one in blanket tight coverage but aside from that our wrs hands were really good, and they made a bunch of plays when given the chance. the return to lull after that is a concern though as well. Late game heroics is usually the strength of our offense. We had a bunch of chances with field position to seal the game and failed to do so. But it is the first game, and coming off a buy. We likely are not as good as the 6 straight scores, nor as bad as the i dont even want to know how many 2 and outs last night. Consistent offensive out put that grinds yardage and top would be nice. But if we score 3 or more tds a game that makes up for a lot.

I think the balance this year is incredible. Coaching/management will limit the riders more then players this year. That D is pretty thin on names but every year a bunch of guys come into the league and shine. The stamps havent looked like the stamps of the last few years. This looks to be a fantastic year for the cfl. Also, our offense was mia for almost a half but still managed to put up 43 points. And nichols cashed in 4 tds. Should have been 2 more too which is scary. Maybe if they get more aggressive with the play call as the year goes on we will see a lot more tds and a lot less fgs.

I expect it as much of this season to be a closely fought game. Dont think we win but i do think we play and perform better then we did against sask.

thats just the riders offense. They did only manage 1.6ypc with marshall, but the DL was caving in the ol of the riders.

what? glenn was running for his life for the entire 2nd half... the first half he was dumping the ball off as quick as possible...

3 sacks on glenn, a TON of pressure 1.6 yards per carry for marshall. Id say its safe to say our DL has been turned around.

1 Dressler. 6-124 2 tds 20.7 ypc 1 carry for 22 yards. Early when the offense struggled he was still very good. When it opened up he was all world. 2 Medlock. 5/5 on field goals including game winner. 45+ yards per punt and 65 on kick offs. Early when the offense struggled we kept field position reasonable with great kicking and great teams. 3 Nichols. 23/36 331 4 tds 1 pick. Another slow start for the offense. Un characteristically struggled late in the game. But between that he was on fire. If he played like that the whole game he would have put up 8 tds. hh Some really big plays and hits. Corney had a huge hit on glenn on a shovel pass. But im going with knox. Who had 2 bone rattling hits on teams. The "rko" as some one dubbed it in chat was the kind of hit on teams you dont see too often. Flew in out of position and destroyed the riders return man.

that would be fantastic, i think we out play them to that level but dont out score em. first game of the year n all.

long long over due first game of the season! 6 teams have played twice and weve played once. Now that is screwy. To say im excited for this is a huge understatement. I think the game will be close on the score board but that the blue will handily out play the riders. 17-10 for us.

Scary thing is 12$ an hour at 40 hours a week is 1,920 a month before taxes. About 1,286 take home a month.

The problem isnt wage, its wage : cost of living. Drastically alter one and the other will adjust to compensate. The minimum wage isnt the barrier its the middle class. We need to rebuild the middle class and lower the barrier for entry. It would be any thing but easy. Bumping the wage and praying it works is easy. Easy way outs seldom work in general though.

We are soo lucky to have had him in blue, and just as lucky to have him working with bob on OB. His articles were allways fantastic too. One of the greatest people weve been lucky to have. Hes our pinball clemons.

Not the most exciting position for some. 84 and maybe early 90s OL as well. Its hard to compare athletes of multiple generations. Especially OL past a certain point. You get to a time pretty quickly when the average OL was 100lbs smaller then bond.

west cal 12-5-1 edm 11-6-1 wpg 11-7 bc 11-7 ssk 6-11-1 east ott 8 -9-1 mtl 8-10 to 7 - 11 ham 5 - 13 I think the west and the league as a whole is gonna be very close this year.
