  1. 1 harris. Beast mode running. Shouldn't have gone away from him. 2 WJ. Knock downs sack pressure tackles for loss. Best game so far in blue. 3 bighill. Side line to side line tackles. HH Kongbo with the early pass knock down
  2. havent checked it out. It would be pretty big if paramount picked that up, I mean it would increase their number of shows by 33%
  3. Yup. Some times even great talent evaluators get lucky.
  4. Zylstra and duke are guys who would improve every team in the league.
  5. Often times bad pro teams have a lot of good talent. And that confusion can set in. Though what else should he say in his position. Also with his lack of time on active rosters, he may not know the differences between good teams and bad teams. Or jones. One of the two. Id rather see bailey play. Whiteheads contribution just by his active threat of speed and how it draws the defense is huge. Its hard to double any one else when you have him running down the seam, faking screens etc. He has an effect on the opposing defense that we havent seen in a very very long time.
  6. He was removed from the 6 game and eligible to return the other day but wasn't at camp. So this isnt entirely surprising. (other then the fact some one else was willing to give up an asset for him) Same ole argos. In cases like this (and willy) the other team should be getting a psych eval instead of a medical dr to do a check up.
  7. The way toronto is going right now, we could probably trade drew willy to them again for a kings ransom.
  8. hes been a soup can crusher, and not even a particularly impressive one at that. But the guy has potential and is better then the broken shell of ZC. Toronto clearly expects him to start for some reason. If I was them I would protect the arms and look for a qb who can run for his life.
  9. Doesnt matter what they intend, they have no ability to execute. The riders are now insanely thin at QB. If Fajardo gets hurt or struggles really bad they have no one to call. I wonder if TO makes a move now. Has the MBT and or Franklin era now ended?
  10. Im sure he will rotate in and play teams mostly. I imagine the starters + roh and jake will all still get high reps. So I dont think he will play soo much that its an issue.
  11. Yep year one was some thing like triple the price of a bills home game. The bills also sucked, and the stadium sucks.
  12. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bills_Toronto_Series First 4 games were over 50k, then it dropped sharply to 40k then 38k and was cancelled.
  13. https://3downnation.com/2019/07/30/bombers-unleashing-jonathan-kongbo-on-the-cfl/ Looks like Kongbo will draw in soon. Perhaps for DJ Lalama?
  14. ive been a big bill walsh fan since I read his first book, the winning edge. And The score takes care of it self amped it up. I loved their offense, but never got attached to the team.
  15. Do you have an nfl team? I never adopted one and it certainly contributed to the death of my nfl interest.
  16. Both true. Its cause and effect. Nichols has been struggling when dealing with pressure this year. Pressure is what hammersmell does. We have every thing to counter act that pressure, but instead put him in a bad position. And he did what you would expect of a qb who struggles with pressure and worse.
  17. We are and do. We didnt have the appropriate game plan in place, and didnt execute. Worst of all we continually turned the ball over. Idk what the split is, but when you turn the ball over 5+ times the chances of winning are extremely slim. (I would guess in the 20-30% range) Week 16 we play them next. I hope this game sticks in the teams craw. I want to see the best and nastiest game this team has played under the canadian mafia. Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.
  18. I still watch some but its tough. The over exposure of the players on social media makes it hard. Especially combined with antics ranging from extremely douchey to awfully criminal (like tyreek hill) I still feel like the guys who play in the cfl are largely cut from a different cloth. A lot of these guys play because they want to play football. Id much rather watch college or even Junior college etc.
  19. Milt also made some catches that didnt seem possible. I agree it is the job of an elite / no1 wr to make catches others wouldnt.
  20. I feel like Paramount channel is bound for the same eventually. They have 3 shows and 2 commercials.
  21. The bombers havent been pulling the numbers i would expect for a 5-1 top of the league squad. A bunch of people talked about how this would be a for sure sell out and I just dont see it. Its pre season NFL. Thats as dull as football gets.
  22. This ham team reminds me a bit of the don mathews als. high pressure and the back end focusing on forcing turn overs.Cover 0 isnt their base but Id say its the modern equivalent and as close as we will see to cover 0 as a base in this era.
  23. Not at all true though. I remember when they told us running wind sprints till you puked and not having water during two a days in the hot sun made you tough. If a wr completely lays out at max speed and can just tough the ball with the tips of the finger, that doesnt mean they should be able to catch it. There is also a grey zone in the middle of should catch it, and shouldnt have to make an attempt like that on a poorly thrown ball. The biggest football wide example of that is on balls thrown behind targets on ins/outs. Im not talking about throwing a wr open, im talking about the wr having to 180 his momentum and make a stretched out catch behind them then turn back to their previous path. Likewise if a wr going over the middle is thrown high, reaches out and is crushed by a DB and doesnt come down with it, that isnt their fault. They couldnt protect them self and were hung out to dry. A qbs arm also plays into it. While a pass to the hands can be easier to catch with a strong arm passer, a pass to the fingers isnt. Some big arm qbs have been known to break fingers with such passes. You catch with your hands, not your fingers. If a wr isnt hung out to dry on a play, and the ball hits his hands or with in the reach of his hands and dont come up with it its a drop. unless a db makes a great play on it of course. Though the most frequent source of a bad drop, is a wr trying to body catch a pass they could catch with their hands. Just because you can touch it, doesnt mean you should be able to catch it. If a wr is able to get with in a stride of it, the qb and wr should have been able to make the connection but there was execution issues. Which can be any thing from a pass not being accurate, to a drop, or a db pushing a guy off his route just enough to disrupt the timing of a play.
