3 start another pretender crowned and Grey Cup bound
wbbfan posted a topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
1 Harris. Beast mode game. He tore the riders front up all night. 2 2 jeffs. 2 tackles 1 sack 1 ff each. 3 biggie. All over the field making plays. Prime biggie performance in a huge game. Hh the big missed kick return by Grant. Really put mo on our side. Crunch of the game. Ba on the side line with biggie smashed a wr on a screen. Block of the game was yoshi pushing his man about 30 yards down field on a keeper then tossing him to the ground. -
I was pulling for als or argos vs us in the gc. After the covid violation and bs none punishment and the cats cheating the ratio I wish Montreal had won. Or even ott. Hate the east division.

Gotta be at this game. West final in Winnipeg in December bout to trounce the 4 stripes. Remember if you're loud you won't be cold.

Gonna be an interesting day for fans coming in from out of town. Least it isnt icy leave early go slow and you don't get cold if you stay loud. I hope the province sends plows out early today to accommodate Highway travels.

How Many games has Andrew harris missed? He's had to integrate 2 different rbs and a bunch of wrs for demski and adams. He's had to start a back up qb with no experience and a game with 3rd string ol. The offense of 2019 was also not based around collaros and his skill set. The offense this year is heavily adjusted to collaros. The 2019 offense struggled a lot it relied on the best kicker ever and a great d to win. He's taken an offense that for years was the worst at going 2 and out overly reliant on pounding Harris into the ground and none stop check downs. Buck took that and had the leagues leading passer the highest scoring offense with the most explosion plays. Bill bellicheck says that luck is the residue of hard work.

holy crap. 152? I know hes been a machine on those deep throws this year but thats insane. You know why CF efficiency on throws 20 yards and deeper is 6? Because he sure cant get 7 out of his deep throws. Get into the heads of the bombers D? Dude hasnt put up a td on them since the regular season of 2019. In fact in all 6 games hes played us, he has passed for 2 tds and 8 picks. But hey, he did run for all of 1 td in those 6 games too 🤣

Sounds back handed, but demski is the best wr in cfl history to not have a 1k yard season. Not soo back handed, I'd take him over nearly every single 1500 yards once and done guy. He's the most dynamic NI wr in recent, modern, semi modern, and kinda old history. As he comes into his peak years I really expect to see elite tier dominant performances year in and year out. He's now too big to be our little secret.

I would take buck over lapo hands down. Buck has much greater potential to improve. But he still has a long way to go both as an oc and a coach in general. Plop is good at coaching players, better than buck is. Give buck another 2 or 3 years and hes probably our ast HC and top of the list for HC jobs around the league. I have very high hope for his ability to grow as a play caller and become an elite oc. Cant really compare 2019 to 2021. This season is the outlier of outliers. I deeply entrenched in the say no to plop movement. But he has a very strong reputation around the league and gets a lot of credit for what the bombers did. Buck also still heavily utilizes stuff he learned from plop. The jet sweep and motion, the route trees etc. The big difference is buck and collaros are aggressive. Plop and nichols werent, and didnt really have the ability to throw 50 yard ropes at will. The rb check down went from the hot route, to barely on the list. We block a lot more on passing downs with our backs now. Buck has made fantastic adjustments to the plop system. A lot of what we see in plops offense today, was here in 2002. Buck has progressed that system more in less than a full season than plop did in 19 years.

He wasnt, but his role was more than a typical QB coach in calgary. Yes dicker takes the oc title and money. But dinwiddie was at least half of that role. And through a time when calgary had one of the best passing attacks consistently. Dinwiddie was also a quick turn around from starting cfl coaching to HCing. Buck has been kicking around as a position coach for a long time. buck isnt a young phenom like sean mcvay. I think buck is a few years away from getting his respect as a CO and possible HC candidate. He has shown some great flashes with evolving his play call and coming up with un expected offenses, but he's still got a very long way to go. I do think he can make that trek to being an elite OC though. I wonder if either of the fledgling spring leagues might steal some position coaches away.

100%. At this point I think jordan younger and marty costello are more likely to jump up next. I'd bet that in the new 2 years JY is a DC and maybe ast hc some where. Costello is a guy who teams should look at, but will certainly take longer to get a fair shot.

Jason maas and the riders wont run out the same game plan. We will make plenty of adjustments and changes. But as long as fajardo cant throw 15 yards down field, or win a game while standing in the pocket I think we will see that be the basis again. Last week he didnt get sacked once. And threw 4 picks and 1 td. Against an ok cal defense. 5 minutes of collaros and way to much dru brown was better than CF. This is one of the most lopsided W finals Ive seen in a long time.

100%. Its a puppet role. I dont think by any means that buck pierce will be a HC any time soon. He's barely had 14 games as an OC.
-
I will bet they get minimum fines for both
-
Thousands of rider fans didn't show up tnite. Two weeks ago we had like 5k tickets left. I don't think we will see many greenbacks in attendance.

Saskatchewan wins the toilet bowl and the right to lose in the west final.

What a bad call lol
-
Tsn asleep at the wheel. No biggie just a play off over time game
-
Stamps get 6 free hits on Cody with some dumb play calls
-
4 rush vs 7 blockers pathetic lol
-
The riders should sign wilder Jr. He'd fit right in with their flex every play wr core
-
Time for another crossbar

That's how you beat Fajardo. Make him sit and throw.
