  1. A dangerous idiot no less. Time to attack the seams deep. Bet he’s benched before half lool. 50 might not be enough
  2. Gonna be a wet t shirt day lol.
  3. No Masoli to come off the bench and save Dane or the cats this time.
  4. About 3 worth of starts. Rolovich ran his offense after spending 7 years in Hawaii under June jones. Did you watch any of their games? They threw it all over the field. He also took his team up to a better conference and went to 3 bowl games. Almost every qb to see the cfl had that knock. That’s the general way scouts say doesn’t have an amazing arm. People still apply that knock to streveler despite it being flat out wrong. What was the book on collaros before he came here? Brittle and damaged mentally. Streveler is and was a better prospect hands down for sure. And still some how not rack up tds.
  5. He did. 10k yards 135 qbr polians team stretched the field lots.
  6. Guy could sling it in college too. Wonder what happened. Is it psychological? Is it some injury? Didn’t he have a hand injury following through and hitting a helmet at one point? That can be tougher than you’d think to come back from. but I mean in the last 20 years I’ve seen a hundred qbs and pitchers turn into much bigger stars only to disappear well before their prime.
  7. Pretty normal for guys like that to be released if it’s gonna be a long rehab especially if they want to rehab at home. But be brought back once healthy.
  8. Terry ray 2.0 honestly a warm corpse would provide more at S. any imp would provide more. Put kyrie or biggie at S and start clements at wil or mac.
  9. Should be able to run on them. how long before Lawrence take a cheap shot or gets kicked out with two unsportsmanlikes
  10. shai Ross signs with bc If he likes grey goose he can work for Chris jones.
  11. I’m betting the record would be between .600 and .700 for avg. you got to win a lot in the cfl when you give up less than 20. It’d be more interesting if we saw how many games with less than 20 points allowed vs wins in that season.
  12. That’s what I’d suspect. I’d be nice if clements was healthy instead of wilcots.
  13. 100% yes. We are thin at back up ni wr. He can also contribute on teams.
  14. Going to be interesting to see how they rotate the front with only one imp dt.
  15. Man sucks couture is out. I hope kola does well at c. People often think LTs get qbs killed. But with modern pass rush and the prominence of shot gun and pistol it’s centers that get timed and toss high snaps that kill qbs. I’m hopeful he played well enough last game and he’s been around long enough. Excited to see Dobson as the 6th on goal line sets.
  16. Personally I don’t put any stock in qb records. I think it’s more a curio then a metric. like our record when blink / harris ran for 100 yards or more. If you put that range harris on the riders They might do worse because of the ol and mobility. But if you put cf on the harris teams I think they’d be much much worse. if either was the rbs qb this year I think we’d have creamed them bad.
  17. I was kind of leaning the same way. For a season I’d go with cf narrowly. For a single game I might go with Harris because he can hit the broad side of a barn deep. Both are about as un clutch I think. I can’t ever imagine cf throwing 4600 yards 30 tds 11 ints or comparable quality.
  18. This is my thought too. But maybe another run scheme will help. Also if I was in the red zone in mtl I’d call iso fade routes to td jake that guy has an amazing catch radius. kine of merging the two discussion points, would you rather have cf or Harris at qb this season? 18/19 Harris had 44 tds 17 picks. 9344 combined yards. 19/21 cf had 46 tds 19 picks 8351 combined yards. both in 31 games.
  19. Yeah I’m not saying he’s small, he’s the modern athletic style of linemen. He’s not a guy who will drop 60 lbs after football. Height is often looked at as a disadvantage in power lifting too. I would much prefer to see his body type and athletic make up become the standard in linemen. And I think it will. But it will take longer on the inside positions. A lower center of gravity and 30 extra lbs is just tough to replace.
  20. Sort of. Every player who signs a contract agrees to a team option for year two with the limited windows. However the league had to tell which players they opted in on in April. It also triggers a guaranteed health care kicker for all of 2023. More importantly the nfl has required that any player it brings in have their contract with the usfl fully terminated. Even just for a try out. Basically all the top players that get try outs will be free of the year two option. finally for me I’d challenge the contract if I was the cfl. 1 the cfl has no contract with the usfl and Is not under any obligation to go by the usfl contract. They could sign a guy mid season and the usfl couldn’t stop it. They could sue but none competes up here very seldom win in court and down south well you’d be a lot harder pressed to get a court to uphold your right to limit a persons right to work in their field out side of the country no less. I think the usfl contract would be thrown out quick fast and in a hurry. But really the cost of that action would rule it out probably and it wouldn’t be needed. Any player the cfl would consider will be released and worked out in the nfl then be an urfa.
  21. I think as always this will lead to a lot of yards and not enough tds with Harris at qb. But just the top and consistent yards should be good.
  22. Sad but not at all surprising. the usfl announced its year end awards before their play offs today. Riley wins coach of the year and he got two player position wins too. I haven’t followed the usfl. But I wonder how much of its talent will end up being air lifts for the cfl rather than the nfl. I feel like teams aren’t sending out a lot more tc invites at this point. I’m sure a couple guys will get looks but the cfl might be the real beneficiary.
  23. Yeah. And yoshi didn’t do well at g here previously.
  24. Gray isn’t huge he’s a modern athletic ol. Especially in the tackle mold. Some tall guys really make it work in side but generally it’s shorter heavier guys that succeed inside. Being 6’6 isn’t really an advantage at guard. for comparison desjarlais is 6’2 320 and gray is 6’6 300. Bond was 6’7 but was also 360lbs. I have no doubt a long tall athletic guard can work and that some guys will have and are. But it’s harder for sure. It really depends. Some times it does especially going from a bad line to a good consistent line. When we put in bond and moved hardrick to tackle it didn’t take time to gel. Moving on from goosen suhk bond etc wasn’t slow.
