I think we have 4 guys threaten 1k receiving. modp I think Willy has a resurgent year with 12+ sacks and a big pass kd year again. braynt win mol for life. Grant gets snubbed for sts player again for dedmon. moc goes to lokombo our mor goes to either piggy or Thomas.

Personally I have a weird thing. I just love seeing some positional numbers. We wearing 7/13, de/lber wearing 55-58, any one wearing 00, wr wearing 81, 84, 87-89, dl wearing 94+, offensive players with 1. Idk why, just love it.

Hmmm idk. Augustine is making close to 100k though. I would look hard at any ni rb with a pulse willing to play for the min.

No numbers are sacred. It’s fair. With the size of the rosters it’d be impossible to retire the 10 or so numbers. Personally I’d love to see a badge on the shoulder or maybe inside the number or some thing that pays homage to the legend that made the number famous.

Imo he’s going to see more reps than jake this year. And probably be better than him.

Do you remember the down fall of the team in the years following the 2001 season? It’s all the same signs. That’s why. cutting guys who did every thing you could ask of them is a waste: tc is the biggest opportunity to get guys up to speed fast. You know how rare it is for an imp lber or de to come in as a rookie mid season and be turn key after nfl cuts? The guys who have been available for the last few weeks are the same guys that are available up until the nfl cut down day. Problem is that same rotation with sayles who was the best of the bunch last year and who is now gone, wasn’t good enough. Guys like Thomas biggie etc aren’t getting any better. Maybe as a back up de. Though we have completely wasted di spots in the past. So using one on a purely sts and goal line guy isn’t a stretch.

The thing to me about the lbing core is yeah the young imps didn’t show well enough to stick around. But clements was as bad as any lber and you can’t expect him to get much better now 3 ish camps into his career.

Not happy that salima was cut and not put on the pr or that Thomas is on the pr. Hopefully they shuffle the roster before week one and activate him.

It’s much easier to be the over achieving back up with limited reps than the guy. Doesn’t seem banged up but could be. He seems tentative for sure. bad tunnel vision when he’s on block and release assignments and on the toss he looked like he was trying to catch a truck.

Yeah I hate that. So much time and resources go into the scouting signing training practice for nothing.

It’s an interesting situation with him. He played some of the highest level hs football. Alabama state champion as a junior. Went to two state ships. Kicked around some big time colleges. He’s had a ton of high level coaching and practice. He doesn’t have a ton of experience actually starting. Only 2 years at Towson. Strevy was a 2 year starter at sdu. having Buck as oc instead of plop is a big win for piggy. piggy is better at creating it’ll be fun to watch him develop and see how well he can run the offense.

I think we will see just that on some short yardage plays. Piggy goes off tackle or finds a hole and goes 40 yards type of thing. He’s gonna love having guys like Bailey Demski and woli down field to seal edges and blow up defenders.

It’s crazy how well he did for being in camp for like 3-4 days. If we go into the season with him as our 3rd de with the state of our dts im not worried about our dl. It’ll be real good. He reminds me a bit of jeffcoat. In terms of the way he rushes, his motor and his polish. I really hope they start salima. I’m worried Augustine is going to default into the job and we will cut the imp rbs. I’ll be hugely disappointed if we see some thing like that.

Some thing some thing some thing Gatorade high school player of the year in Alabama. lol. I vaguely recall thinking he looked like he was playing too low a level of competition. Just running around fools. I didn’t think his quickness was as crazy as it is. I’m pretty damn sure the Hamilton coaching staff will be game planning for short yardage and option package as soon as their cuts are made. If he was cut tomorrow he’d probably get a contract offer from every team in the league. We don’t even know who he is and every one around the league knows who he is.

Menziel showed less than pigrome in the cfl and his biggest problem was between his ears. Which was well known before he came up.

Davis is a mobile qb he’s just run to throw like kg. And bishop was an athletic qb similar to Davis. Arbuckle doesn’t have athleticism but still has had a long career that’s made him good money. So pigromes athleticism gives him a very strong chance to have a lengthy career even if he doesn’t develop. Greenes 2 best years are like Joseph’s average 2 years.

Yup. Well aside from collaros clearly having to be hurt. But he’s a rookie. You expect development especially in a 9 year player 5 year starter. Greene never did. Idk. Guy with running talent like that can stick a long time. Like strevler in the nfl or Greene up here. Or Michael bishop. Or Arbuckle. Or Dominique frickin Davis.

Really liked what I saw from Haba. Guy has a motor too. Hope he sticks and can learn from the Jeff’s. agree with all the other points. Really like how Salima runs.

By lots you mean 2 years. Vs 4 with more picks than tds. Never put up 3500 yards passing or 23 passing tds. Broke 3k twice. Threw more than 14 tds twice. In 9 seasons.

Pigrome is also 25 and bounced around college a lot. If he could do all he’s shown and run the offense through it’s mid range niche he just wouldn’t be human. If he is as he’s shown, that can be taught. A yeah behind collaros and with buck coaching him will be gold. If he’s half as good as he looks next year he might be the second best qb in the league. (Though times are real thin at qb rn) this is really a perfect situation for him. He doesn’t have pressure and doesn’t need to be forced into action. He can run some package stuff, maybe go hurry up after short yardage plays and doesn’t even need to be qb2. He’s easily the most promising and talent rookie qb we’ve seen since strevy. And he looks like he already has better touch.

We’ve seen some pretty crap qbs kick around the cfl. Cavillos first 5 years as a starter were pretty crap.

That dude tossed a lot of picks and not a lot of yards or tds. He had heaps of potential but never lived up to them. Very Casey printers and buck pierce esq.

Younger, quicker Kerry joseph. Both stocky strong physical athletes with a good arm and great running. Joseph was like 30? When he came up and had been converted to S in the nfl. Similar to strevy, but the acceleration piggy has is a game changer.

I expect we keep one and put him on the pr. I might guess sheahan but it could go either way.
