And he certainly looks as un lean as ever. In 2018 masoli threw 572 passes. Since then he’s thrown 572. We are 5 weeks into the 4th season he hasn’t been able to hold onto his spot one way or another though mostly through injuries. In these years he’s tossed 21 tds to 15 picks. 17 games in 18, 23 since. His rushing yards are less than half and his passing yards comparable. He’s bo Levi Mitchell with less choke and a bunch more season ending injuries. Dudes toast. 35 this year too.

Having 3 viable pass rushing des is critical. But jeffcoat when healthy is the most disruptive player on D and one of the best pass rushers. Even when he doesn’t get to the qb he has a Lawrence Taylor type impact. Willy is such a unique de and gets a ton of credit which he deserves especially this year. But jj is after the QBs ass every single snap and terrorizing would be blockers. Lawson is a beast inside too. If we sort out snaps with Jake better and improve our imp dt / nose spot the front will be epic. Grab middleton from the elk, roster fox, bring Goodson off the suspended list etc lots of options. It’d be nice to roll 3 des and 4 dts keeping walker on but we are already thin at a bunch of other spots like db.

Mills had big production in the first quarter but never got his 100 which is crazy. At one point he was 7 for 78 yards in the first. Brady had all his production in the clutch and secured us the win. Plus No points allowed in the second half and maier got yanked. Throw back to championship defence in the second.

That second half was a real throw back to bomber Ds of the gc years. No point in the back half. Mills never got his 100 yards and maier got pulled. I think it’s just a matter of time till we go younger inside the ol.
