  1. Interesting that copper is listed at a de and that we list 4 back up dbs. happy grant is back and that the new guys get a chance right away. when couture Wilson and ba are back it’ll be huge.
  2. If they bring him back it could be the return of the Mack
  3. Right? They have great ability to find talent. But they make some of the poorest use of roster space in the league. We always have that dead weight guy, that un used DI etc. 100%. Every one else on the line is suffering from not having a guy who can smash the center back on each of his snaps. So are our Lbers, especially biggie.
  4. True. And who knows. Not compared to charles nelson, or taylor. Likely. I thought mack was solid and had potential, but I'm sure we could get better off nfl waivers. Dont think wilcots is much better either though. Or walker. Mcknight back too, eww.
  5. Weight has a lot of variance depending on build and height etc. some guys are much smaller and much stronger. I think he’d be really interesting fit at wil. Long term I think the commitment is to ba then Noah’s development with all the ni dbs. pretty sure he’s been on the neglist for a bit.
  6. Maybe one of terry williams or devonte Desmond from ott. Chandler worthy or Tyson philpot. Papi white and Lawrence woods. Shai Ross would have been a great pick up when he was available. lots of guys who would be solid pick ups from teams that have two guys already and may be out of the race or badly in need of a shake up.
  7. Are you? No collaros magic no grey cup. Harris was as big a part in the pass game as rushing. The cats put up 131 yards rushing on 15 Carries between Addison and Sutton. Harris ran for 134 on 18 Carries. You don’t run to grey cup wins. 😘
  8. After looking at it more I think he could possibly fill a few positions. s is a slam dunk easy choice but I assume ba will be healthy for the stretch at this rate. Wil he’d be undersized but he’s only 7 pounds lighter than Jesse Briggs. Sam/hb he wasn’t a man to man cover guy in the nfl or college but being a cover safety in the nfl does have carry over for how dbs come up and play the ball/wr in halls defense. for a db he is really strong on top of being a great run jump athlete. Guys like that could easily be the future of the wil position in the cfl.
  9. You can go back to last year and when stove was injured our one weakness was the run game. We got gashed for big plays every game. Thing is, you don’t run to a grey cup win. If you can’t pass and drive the field in short order to win the game you won’t win the big games. Right now we got one of every thing on the ir. And our flexibility is suffering. But when the important games are played our guys do what it takes. Streveler on a broken ankle. Biggie jeffcoat and ba soo many guys hurt in the play offs the last two grey cup runs. But they still show up and make plays when it’s needed.
  10. Christmas is 10x the dt that Marino is. Not an exaggeration. That guy could be an elite dt before long. He’s been extremely good in limited reps. as long as toxicity remains discipline won’t come. And the later you get into a football season the harder it is to win. Injuries and adversity compound and pressure escalates. The riders will continue to be worse and get worse this year, same as always with dicky and back to jones. poise wins. The difference between a good nose and a bad nose isn’t that the bad nose occupies their ol. What starts as a double leads to one of the ol switching off frequently and in the run game getting to the 2nd level. A good nose can push both guys back and close/play the a gaps in the run and push the pocket onto the lap of the qb. look at how frequently biggie gets blocked by an ol in games with out stove going back to last year. a nose lines up on the c or in the a gap. A guy who gets double teamed as a 3 tech they arent the same as a nose tackle. If they can blow up a play they can accomplish a similar end as a 1/2 tech. But even then, a true nose effects the snap. It’s hard thing centers aren’t used to and in the cfl centers are generally smaller. Guards are use to it bigger and don’t have to worry about getting hit right after then snap.
  11. That’d be the second best out come possible. The best being he’s banished for good and we never see or hear of him again.
  12. Ba allowed a lot of guys to shine. Alford would’ve been the best with out ba. For my money ba was the most valuable db on the roster and still is. Would’ve been my modp.
  13. They do. Normally it’s 10-15 plays. If things go off script they often try to roll back into those plays later. the first series of plays are heavily practiced as well the week leading up. A good oc plans progressions off those plays and runs the same play from multiple looks.
  14. Probably cut grass for Danny mac while playing pop Warner. I don’t think a guy earns a star as a football prospect in that state with out mac attacking knowing every thing about him.
  15. Up there with mo before he moved to Sam. We’ve narrowly won the ldc can we just bury these turds on home field please?
  16. Looks to have an incredible nose for the ball and big play skill. All I see is blocked punts a ton of forced fumbles tfl picks defensive tds and big hits. Kick cover monster too. Might be a project sam or s. Might be an undersized wil.
  17. https://3downnation.com/2022/09/06/blue-bombers-sign-former-nfl-defensive-back-j-t-hassell/ bombers sign db it hassell. 5’11 200 lbs. insane athlete. 4.3 40 42 vert 23 reps of 225 10’ broad jump 6.84 3 cone time. 8 games played between jets and browns. Was a S in college with tremendous production. Was born with a hand deformity. Only has two fingers on his left hand. Interesting pick up to say the least. wonder where they see him slotting in.
  18. Since he’s been on the one game ir I suspect it’s a paper move thing.
  19. A qb in the back field is always a passer too. Other wise they could hand off the ball and you could lay them out. of course mr contrarian thinks it’s clean lmao.
  20. His body language after was 100% success but trying to sell it
  21. He didn’t come out but we don’t really know. If he was a little banged up they wouldn’t say any thing. Gotta play Moronino and the plaugue$h!ts two out of the next three still. no worries
  22. Injury doesn’t factor into penalties. That hit could’ve ended his season and had that intent. That’s what counts. Not to mention it’s his third attempt to injure in three games.
